Then he isn't that much of a 'shattered man' as the idea of playing for the GWS has more appeal to it than apologizing for his actions. The playing group are all adults, they are not teenager and I'd suggest they would all forgive him as they would all do the same if they were in his situation.
how about this. You beleive KT will be happy to go to GWS, everyone else doesnt. thats ok because everything we know is based on rumour and media reports that may or may not be accurate.

The AFL won't care what the state of football is like if the action under investigation is bad enough. Yes Carlton's was worse, but one of the major Melbourne clubs was nearly put to extinction because of it. The AFL will NOT make their decision based on PA's current situation. It's ridiculous to think they would.

Cant totally agree. I believe that if the Crows have "cheated" but nowhere near what Carlton did the AFL will strive to make the abused appear as secondary but still worthy of a penalty. What Carlron did was extreme and I dont believe the Crows can be compared to that.

The reality is that the AFL needs SA to be competitive. AD has stated that himself on numerous occasions and the TV rights will influence the AFL. However if the Crows transgressions are considered to be as bad as Carlton (which I say again I dont believe they will) then yes the Crows will get the book thrown at them. As for persecuting Carlton yes that was extreme but if a Victorian team goes to the wall that would play into the AFL's hand as they acknowledge there are too many teams in Victoria anyway.

Yeah, that's it.

I'm saying they are adults and will move on. Unlike some of you.

I'm not sure if the 'childish' comment was directed at me or not. If it was, I fail to see how me disagreeing with you makes me childish. o_O

Secondly, do you really think there wouldn't be multiple members of the playing group that would not like the fact that he was back in the team after all that has happened over the past couple of weeks?

Like it or not, many adults hold grudges. I could see a situation like $kurt re-signing with the Crows impacting majorly on morale and causing divisions in the playing group.

No tantrum, just frustrated at the stupidity some people apply at losing a player. Heaven forbid someone have a choice.

I think you will find a lot of the anger is at the way $kurt has handled his departure, moreso than the fact that he is leaving. It started with a 'friends forever' text message and went downhill from there.

Someone never likes it when the majority disagrees with him and won't obey his commands.

I don't care if people disagree with me. But can they please represent the supporter base with class and dignity?

$kirt, Cunston, the Davis names, Bock had a few as well. Classless individuals use them.

what the **** does that have to do with you?

Big deal - he texted it it. How does that change anything. He's made a decision to leave, move on.

classless individuals also resort to calling people names like '******* child'

Dumb and dumber reporting rumour out of melb is that tippett informing all clubs he will retire if selected by anyone other than swans.

Wouldnt this be draft tampering.

What would happen if GWS drafted him and then he said he will stand out for 12 months. What happens to thatGWS draft pick. IS it a risk they have to take?

o_O By that logic that same question could equally apply to yourself, or anyone else replying to this thread. We're Crows fans. We care about the club and, as such, like to express our opinions on what we think about people and situations that affect the club.

If you don't care about his departure, the way he handled it, or any of that, why the heck have you posted so much in the various threads about it?

I present for your amusement, A Transcript According To AIOF

Day 1: Preseason training

Players recieve a text:

"hey guys, i know i tried to bail on the club last year for more money at a time we were gearing up for a possible premiership tilt, and i know some of you took multi year paycuts to try to keep me in the team, and i had made my decision in August despite telling the club that i wouldn't make a decision until the end of the year, and i know i kicked aiden out of my house, and i know i took a secret 'off contract' deal from the crows that has landed the club in hot water and my have ramifications for the next 10 years, which will be the entirety of most of your careers, and to get my extra money i tried to force the crows to allow me to be traded for 1/8th of **** all, and threatened to bring lawyers in, and prevented you guys from getting on with any other trades or cracks at free agency players because i was leading the club on, and said goodbye via text after defecting from adelaide as quickly as i possibly could..... weeeelllll, ive been forced to stay at the crows so im really really sorry. #Best friends for life #kurttippett4"

I just had a quick read through the last CBA.

http://www.afl.com.au/portals/0/afl...collective_bargaining_agreement_2007_2011.pdf

Under section 16, I cant see what we have done wrong in regards to the $200k. Unless of courese our additional payments went over the clause 16.2 amounts. Stated in clause 16.3 that if they dont we dont have to inform the AFL. I can not see anywhere that it is against the rules for a club to underwrite additional payments.

16.8 suggests Tippet needed to tell the AFL of the details of the agreements.

Section 17 talks about additional clauses, again there is no suggestion that it is against the rules that a club and player agree on a "price" to be traded at.

We probably did something wrong, bending the rules, but I cant see exaclty how what we did can be deemed wrong according to the set rules.

Personally I think it's the lack of disclosure the AFL will be angrier about.

Have a read of clauses 11.5 and 18.1.

It was a collective comment directed at a wide range of people and children make irrational, uneducated and emotional comments based on nothing but individual feelings.

Secondly, do you really think there wouldn't be multiple members of the playing group that would not like the fact that he was back in the team after all that has happened over the past couple of weeks?

What?

I honestly believe, if he walked into the change room - he would not be received with open arms straight away but after 5 minutes and a few sound words directed at him, they would move on and get on with the greater good of winning.

Like it or not, many adults hold grudges. I could see a situation like $kurt re-signing with the Crows impacting majorly on morale and causing divisions in the playing group.

Yeah and if that's true, the only people who have a right to hold a grudge is the players he's played with as he's let them down. As a supporter of the club, I'll say thanks for the memories big fella and enjoy your time at the Swans. What right do I have to say - you must play with us forever, he never asked to be drafted by the club and he chose to spend 5 or 6 years at the club.

He can play where ever he likes.

No, no you're getting it all wrong, that's:
