1) if we were having this conversation - I would respect your right to say that as I would assume we were mates and yes then I would call the people making that statement an idiot because that is how they are acting.

2) If we were having this conversation in person - and we were not mates, I would walk away from from the idiot making those stupid statements.

3) what sort of person thinks it's acceptable behaviour to say those things, except key board warriors?

It's all part and parceled with sport, I was recently in Cleveland for work and had the luxury of seeing Cleveland vs. Miami and "Wow, just Wow" the entire city of Cleveland gave it to Lebron, as I've said it's just all part and parceled with Sport

Re Kurt, I am less sensitive to why he left, whether that be for the money, or because he hates Adelaide as a city or whether it's for a multiple reasons I don't care.

What I take exception to is how he left
- he has lied to and mislead many at the club
- he was aware that when he told the club mid season that he would stay that some players were taking pay cuts to keep him, however he always intended to go
- he failed to man up and tell his coach and team mates " eye to eye" that he was leaving
- failed to instruct his manager to ensure that Adelaide would be fairly compensated

On the last point I take exception to anyone delegating all the blame to Kurt's Manger, all player agents must sign a agency agreement which clearly states that they will act within the instructions of their Client, Kurt as his Client would had fully been aware of and endorsed the cheap trade strategy

All this after a time when Adelaide have bent over backwards for Kurt, not only just financially but also looking after every other need of his.....

Finally you do need to ask the question why when 3 players leave their respective clubs in Dawes, Lynch and Tippett, why have two of these players kept the respect and friendship with their previous team mates whilst the other has lost respect and friendships

Firstly he is single.

His brother plays in Adelaide and is probably playing in Qld next year.

His sister lives in Qld.

His parents live in Qld.

Tippett is not going to Qld, he is going to Sydney - for mega-dollars.

Tippett is a selfish prick who thinks of nobody but Tippett and rolling in dollars like Scrooge McDuck.

To paint him as a noble creature doing the best thing for his own family has zero credence I'm afraid.

His brother? really, really? It's not like he signed another contract after his brother arrived in town and as soon as his contract was up - he's goneski.

I've never said money was never an issue (that was someone else IIRC) and the contract with the Swans was too hard to turn down.

so the city he lives in is only an issue when hes offered more money somewhere else? so earlier you claimed he hated adelaide and wanted to get out, but now he only hated adelaide enough to want to get out when the money was better elsewhere.

At least the possibility of him suing Crows has gone.
After the Crows fessed to the AFL the trade was taken out of their hands - they could not have honoured the contract even if they wanted to.
With that the possibility for breaching contract also vanished, no?

I am keen to hear more about KT telling other clubs he would retire if picked.
If this is true surely the AFL will squash him like a bug.
Trying to rort the Crows is one thing but the AFL just would not stand for that and I would expect him to be either deregistered or Swans banned from picking him up.
