For a start, who's to say they got info on the other 3rd party deals being investigated apart from VB and Danger? Maybe other deals were ticked off easily but VB and Danger's deals had some grey area surrounding them? Which they possibly did..

Remember the thing being supposedly investigated was not if the deals were against the rules, but if the club helped organise them.. Clubs are not allowed to help organise them..

I was talking about the initial reports that had very little substance just that danger and vbs deals were being investigated. My point was that all six of our tpps were being investigated because we'd opened them up to the afl. The initial reports were written in such a way as to gain maximum exposure - ooh look more crook deals found by afl rather than a more measured approach.

They should cop the penalties without complaint, that is the point.

Let's wait and see what the penalties actually are (rather than just media speculation) before deciding whether we should accept them or not. I have no problem with the club pleading guilty on all charges - but if the penalties do not meet the standard of "natural justice", then the AFC should not take things lying down.
