Agreed - but White does need to be more careful - posting board passes at a time when Adelaide and Sydney are commencing trade negotiations is a bit clueless.

I just cant see it being a straight transaction between us and the Swans

for Sydney to target Kurt like they have they must want him badly more than what their supporters are giving credit to which means they need to get a deal done

with this in mind Syd will be force to bring in a 3rd or 4th club to acquire early picks, Reid to Collingwood makes some sense as Kurt will be taking his position & Reid hasnt been setting the world on fire and Rohan home to Geelong may be a win-win

either way I just cant see it getting done just between us and the swans

You don't commit to someone at that price tag without being confident of and committed to getting the trade done. Swans will have to lose a player they don't want to lose to get this done and that in itself will create currency that will lead to us getting a fair trade.

From our perspective, with the money that we would have to play with, we can get a star player. Look for some big name players or very early picks being linked to Adelaide over the next 3 weeks. I am mo confident of getting a good deal from Sydney than I would be if it was GC. They would have the upper hand in negotiations with the threat of PSD. This way Swans will come to the party.

I say do what the Hawks and Doggies did several years ago with the deal known as the "Veale Deal". Don't deal with the Swans, send Tippet to the draft, swap a donkey for the player you guys want from the GC, and GC get Tippet in the pre season draft. GC are happy, you guys are happy and the Swannies miss out!!

GWS have said they do not want Tippet as they have Cameron and Patton - so no need to worry about them guys at pick 1.

Good strategy to have up your sleeve any way!! Good luck, hope you guys get compensated as you's have lost some top KPP over last few years in Bock, Davis, Gunston, now Tippett and you guys are still gong strong, which is the sign of a good club.

for your CEO and Coach to head to the GC directly after the GF to put forward a contract that Kurt could not refuse and that was heafty enough to change his 12 months of planning to head back to the GC suggest how much your CEO and Coach want him

with this in mind History shows that these types of deals will not get done with what many of the Swans supporters are suggesting so if he does end up at Sydney it will cost Sydney far more than what Swan fans are suggesting otherwise Kurt will be forced back to review the Brisbane and GC options again or be faced with a creditable threat of the PSD

The club has just won a flag, now they bring in $Kirt as their highest paid player, it would surely create some division, as they will need to trade something of quality. Their 1st round pick doesn't cut the mustard, so a QUALITY player must be handed over. Nice way to **** the playing group over

this has been floated around but when have GWS actually come out and said this, in my view GWS have been pretty silent on the whole Tippett thing

even if GWS have said so didn't Port say the same thing about J-Mac all the way up to the night of the PSD

Furthermore GWS would love to get one up on its state and expansion rivals and no one can convince me that a young side like GWS could restructure quickly to fit Kurt under the cap and couldn't use a 25 yr old, 202cm, 100kg monster to help with their young list

If you do get him I would advise against that. Playing him at CHF allows him to stay in the game and prevents him developing bad habits. Just my 2c.

SCG does not suit that structure

this is why I think Reid could be the player that Swans trade to another club for an early pick (Pies or Carlton) and pass on to Adelaide
