Massive generalization I know. But in my experience it takes a particular personality type to be successful in construction industry.

I can't imagine the choice of sport/occupation would have ever been as important to tippett snr, as what could be extracted from it.

Aha. Add to that each project carrying multiple litigation in order to protect cash flow which in turn squeezes a creditors cash flow until they collapse under the weight.

So the way I see it is like the forbidden fruit! Tippet is like the potential savior - big forward that can win you premierships! We sell our soul to keep him! Except he turns out to be a Snake (Satan - Beelzebub) and well (GOD - AFL) finds out that we have eaten of the fruit of ( Don't tell the AFL) and now we are in a bit of a pickle! Sooo what I wan't to know is this Beezebub who walked in our midst and we worshiped and has brought us to the gates of hell, ( We will pay big time ) Please tell me he will go down too! Because there has to be some justice in world!
We as a club did the wrong thing BUT - we "were" bent over by Peter Blucher ( he should be banned too ) - And my thought are for those who think they are bigger than the game! It doesn't matter if your name is Carey, Ablett or Tippet (except for the talent part: re Tippet) should be brought to the alter and be made aware that actually "they" are lucky to be a part of this great game! And if you think you can just turn up and RAPE us (the fans who pay the money) well - this is the deal sunshine!!!!!
Ok please tell me there will be a real and justified outcome here - nobody will cry for Tippet but there will be "LOTS" of tears for the AFC!

We deserve all we get for putting ourselfs in the position to be exploited the way we were. Need to be taught a lesson, need to be seen to be taught a lesson.

Banning the other parties all together would still be a shortcomng, for what they did, to a club that only ever looked after their best interests. Their motives were greed, not emotional (revenge).

You know what - I forgive the AFC for thinking they could convince Tippet to "Believe" in us - when I was a younger man I was involved in a religious cult and I believed in all I was taught, so I get the mentality! Yep agreed. But Damir was somehow transparently silly as well. This father/son relationship and its focus on money has a more calculating, sinister flavour to it somehow.

Robran was a better footballer than KT in every aspect except physical impact.

KT showed he could dig in and throw his massive frame about - some of what he did in the PF was exceptional.

Robran had sublime skills, a great understanding of the game ... but he never dominated physically.

PS - I'm hopeful that Jenkins, Johnston and McKernan stand up and have a go this year - these three surely include at least one ace waiting to reach his potential. I believe McKernan could become that big power forward that many past Crows players have tried to hold down, but never dominated. That includes KT - MR - IP - BC etc ...

KT is high profile but shit in several ways really. Can't kick, defenders have a handle on stopping him in the air now, and he tempts your ball carriers into predictable passages of play. As the prior user of this account said, he has lost us many games of footy and won us none.

Losing him is more a cultural worry than anything. Another club with stronger emotional pillars in place may make more effective use of him, and if that's Sydney, we're perhaps in a degree of trouble. But I expect he'll go to some bottom feeder and generally stuff things up even further for them.
