Hmmmm....... strange situation where the AFLPA is wearing two hats by providing support for Tippett and on the other hand are responsible for the conduct/disciplining of his manager Blewcher. How is it that the judging/sanctioning of a manager, who deals deeply in the laws and conditions of the AFL is left to a 'union'? Managers are fully involved in dealing and facilitating contractural conditions of the players they represent. They are not just go-betweens. How can he have not been fully aware of the dodgy stuff concerning Tippett's contract? How could he not be aware that what was proposed in 2009, or whatever subsequently, was outside the rules? Just hope the bulk of guilt/penalty is not lumped onto the AFC, with wrist slaps to the other individuals.

Will the AFC be gentlemanly toward Tippett at the hearing on Moday?

I think we'll wait and see what happens before we start to worry about losing picks in the next 4 drafts.

Also, word to the wise, when you're intending to troll a forum it's considered a bit of a faux pas to announce it on your own team's forum first. I'd appreciate it if you moved on, please.

Why?

I found the interview to be kinda pointless.

All he could really say was, we are going to wait and see until the outcome of the investigation before deciding out cause of action.
 
on the serious tho. these days, players, their managers, the club personnel, how can they think that it would never be discovered. Would've thought that everyone would've learned from Carlton. It is ablight on our game..NRL style..
