If that's bullying it's hardly the worst example of it in this thread, nor in the thread on the Sydney board thanks to your input there. If your mods feel otherwise, I'm sure they'll let me know.

Learn to read: I said 'bordering on bullying' - and no that's not splitting hairs - most employers would ' chat' about this sort of behaviour to let you know you are getting onto dangerous ground.

Now go.

Nice attempt at a valid comparison.
Jolly and O'Keefe were solid contributors to our club, we were happy to try and accommodate their requests. They had earned it.
I didn't hear about ROK throwing his Norm Smith in the yarra so I guess he is ok about staying on.
What are you doing here? Can you please leave you Troll!!

What do you call repeated off-topic posts demanding I leave when I haven't, at any point in this thread, been told to leave or that how I was posting was unacceptable by those who make the call?

Was down at training today and Phil Harper popped down to have a chat with some of the regulars. Convo opened thusly:

Random: Hey Phil, how are ya?
Phil: Absolute shithouse

And you could see it too. Looked really stressed.

He then went and had a chat with some guys before coming back closer to where I was. Said the following to someone

"Bottom line, a bad, bad, bad deal was done. How am I in trouble? Well, 6 months in I have to execute it and by executing it, I'm in trouble"

Its a fair point. If you don't want to converse with this person, stop conversing with him/her. Pretty simple stuff.

As it's starting to look like Tippett will end up at the Swans rather then GWS again, Shotties is back to rub it in our faces. Coincidence? I think not.
No, I stopped when it looked the AFL were going to go to town on you.

Mate you lost all credibility when you thought 23+White was a fair trade..
I don't think I've ever said that.

PMSL! Wonder how that board game costs!

No, I'm saying if my posts are offensive, report to your mods and they can decide. As for Jenny, if I posted that I'd spoken to some unnamed Crows players at an unspecified time and location and that there had been some signs unrest and I presented it as a basis for saying that there's definitely unrest within the Crows due to the creative book keeping favouring some players over others, I doubt many in here would take the approach they've been advocating for me.

Yes, we have "creative bookkeeping".

You only have a Cost Of Living Allowance, laughable. How much extra is bread and milk in Sydney?

I said nothing about off-topic. In this case it's irrelevant. Now go back to your own board.

Not really, I'm attempting to discuss Tippett and his destruction of Sydney and you (amongst others) are repeatedly posting telling me to leave. Your moderators have asked me before to drop a line of posting, and I have. If they have an issue with me asking Jenny to clarify what she posted, I'm sure they'll let me know.

Anyone else hear on MMM  this morning the Club got on the front foot and said to the AFL they would subpoena all third party agreements from all clubs if the AFL didn't play nicely... Or words to that effect...

Yes I know given the source, take it with a grain of salt, but it does sound like the 'take no prisoners' QC approach that Peter J was talking about...

I don't understand what subpoenaing other third party agreements would achieve?
The question with Tippett isn't whether he had 3rd party agreements, but rather I would have thought the process involved in accessing/agreeing to the contracts.
How would a list of other players agreements assist AFC's defence, unless they were to query the basis on which each of the agreements were entered into?

Mind you even if it were true I think it would be classed as a fishing exercise and given the right to confidentiality I would have thought an argument that there MIGHT be something suss about other agreements would hardly be a basis for a court to grant access to other players 3rd party agreements.

He's lost 8kg's since the start of this saga. Not good for Philthy.

who cares how much extra costs of living is in Sydney?

you take the good with the bad when you live in any city, except if you are a Swans player.

I wonder, do all the Sydney based NRL teams have a higher salary cap than the rest?
Yet to see a swans supporter argue for a COL for West Coast and Freo, or a player retention allowance for Adelaide or Port given how shit the city is and how no one wants to live there

So, missed the point completely... these are rich young men who play this game. Average salary is something like $160k. Once you're earning this amount you can afford to live. It's all discretionary spending for them. Hence, CoL allowance is rubbish. The amounts you need to live - like milk being $4 instead of $3 - aren't going to be a problem. Look for Gablett Jr's twitpic where he shows off his shoe closet and tell me with a straight face that if players can spend money on that, they NEED a CoL for Sydney.

On that same basis, West Coast and Freo should have one too.

Shotties:

You need to learn the skill of 'taking no' for an answer. You have been told by the poster concerned she is not going to discuss it further/ give you more information but you still pursue her? You have no right to pursue people for answers they have clearly said they are not prepared to give, particular in a public forum.

If you don't want to understand that and how your behaviour is bordering on offensive on another clubs board, then I can't help you. I'm not discussing this any further with you - and this is my right too.

I can't argue. If the Swans get the COL allowance taken away, I won't have a sook about it. The Swans are abiding by the rules that the AFL have set and the other clubs voted in.

This post can't be lost amongst the trolls. Doesn't sound good. Hardly words of a man who is about to have charges dropped.
