At least when it comes from the horse's mouth there's a reasonable chance that it might be true, or at least contain elements of truth.

Most of your posts contain nothing but the workings of a feverish mind, intent on finding conspiracies and lies where none necessarily exist. Even worse, you seem to assume that something is false just because it comes from an authoritative source - your assumption is massively flawed. You have no basis on which to back up your assertions, other than stating "it could be so" (and probably is in the delusional universe which you choose to inhabit).

Fair comment.. but I challenge you to find anything positive that Sanders has ever said about the AFC. There is a reasonable case to be made that "Sanders" is nothing more than a troll account. I have yet to see any evidence to suggest that Sanders is actually an Adelaide supporter.

Most of us have had our say one way or another regarding the club and officials, and as you would know it has been done to death in this thread. I would say the majority of us would like to move on and look forward, hopefully, to better things.
The big problem is that there are about 3 posters, the most vocal and negative being Sanders, who have their feet firmly stuck in cement and no matter what always seem to find a way to slag the AFC.
Just check out some other threads and you will see the same posters peddling and regurgitating the same dribble that has been done to death in this thread over and over and over and over again.
Sure have your say but there comes a time that you should be able to contribute something else other than the boring mindless repetitive negativity we have been subjected to for the past 4 months.

Maybe Sanders is nothing but a troll who is full of crap but at least he/she is looking at all the information being made available and identifying a key point in all of this where the club agreed to send Tippett to the club of his choice. The comments coming out of Macca23 and Jenny are nothing but club based propaganda.

Jenny doesn't want to know anything about Trigg stuffing up, head in the sand yelling la la la la la it didn't happen, it was all Kurt fault and Macca23 also blames Kurt for all of this. They are refusing to see the entire picture and acknowledged actual events that caused this drama to take place. Like the agreement to send him to the club of his choice. Why would anyone agree/instigate that agreement if they had any intentions of staying. He is a gold coast by at heart after all. It's not like he's made public comments that have shown him to have a long term future in Adelaide. 2 - 0 in favour of him going. This is nothing about him leaving or where he ended up at but more about the timing of this decision and the his decision to leave was made a long time ago, almost 3 years ago.

Therefore, Macca23 and Jenny may have inside sources and have some very useful information for us but that still doesn't suggest what they are posting in response to this topic is the accurate truth but more like information that the club wished to be made pubic.

As much as some would just love this topic to disappear into the darkness of the night, this still has a very long way to go before the fuse is fully burn out.

As soon as Kurt Tippett plays a good game and we have a bad loss, the hurt will return. This won't disappear until Trigg is gone, like Reid and Tippett. So expect this saga to continue for sometime yet.

See, it's this 'positive' thing I have a problem with. It's a discussion forum. There are rules of engagement but last time I checked 'positivity' wasn't one of them.

Just out of interest (and because I clearly have too much time on my hands) I did check out Sanders' posting and, for the record, he made a 'positive' remark about Ben Rutten in the 'Beep.. beep.. beep..' thread. On the whole, he is sarcastic, opinionated, and intolerant of unsubstantiated claims - across a wide range of topics. He reminds me a bit of Crow-mo, who also got up some people's noses, but I found entertaining. I didn't see anything which suggested he wasn't anything other than a genuine supporter who happens to like an argument.

This is the 'Tippett is gone' thread. What else would you expect to find discussed here? Personally, I get my 'move on and look forward' kicks from 'Our 2013 bolter', or 'Rejoice in the brilliance..etc', or the two matchday threads we've had this year. But I come here to trawl over the Tippett fiasco and the club's spectacular lack of accountability.

In any case, isn't there an 'ignore' button? I've never found it, but people say it exists.

We didn't give him time off to think about things. We were having contracts drawn up and he then suffered his third concussion. He needed time to recover and in good faith we let him do that. He'd already said he'd sign, I guess they took him at his word and had no reason to doubt him. We had a press release ready to go, that's how sure we were.

In hindsight now, I am really glad he didn't sign. I just feel we have dodged a bullet. He would have been paid far more than he was worth and ultimately one knock away from a career ending concussion.

We may not have intended to give Tippett time to think about things - but we effectively did - before he signed off on the new contract. This was incompetent, as we should have closed the deal, before giving him time off.

Given Tippett's true character has since come out, I agree we have dodged a bullet & I say good riddance! But would like to have got something for him & not landed all the draft penalties in doing so!

I tell you what, I'll lighten up if you actually have something nice to say about the club administration - just occasionally. They are human beings who make mistakes - as you do false messiah.

Jenny, Macca, me and and a number of others are in no doubt the club administration has stuffed up big time. Macca in particular has been highly constructively critical on a number of occasions. But it's also reasonable to cut them some slack. There won't be one person on this board who has never made a mistake at work - some of them major with dire personal consequences. And nothing you constantly say against the club administration over and over again ad nauseum is going to change anything. Bringing up stuff you can't control or change to the point of obsession is unhelpful, immature and worryingly, says a lot about you. It is what it is. The club administration has made big mistakes and we all know the AFL is a joke. Time to move on. Or if you can't move on then move onto a club whose administration you are happy with. And leave the rest of us to look forward to the important stuff - this great playing group and the 2013 season.
