Most disturbing news i have heard since the Justin Murphy and Matthew Allan trades. Apparently Essendon and Richmond are very interested in trading Andrew Welsh for Greg Tivendale. What is Sheedy thinking? Tivendale is 27 and has one of the worst left foot kicks in the AFL. Whilst Welsh is only 22 and is a very solid defender who has the talent and ability to step up and play in the midfield

If that were happen it would be a big mistake and one that we'd pay for for many years to come.

I would say he'd be worth around pick 20-25. Interested to hear what others think though.

Trouble is they signed up Welsh(to a multi year deal) earlier in the year , why would they have bothered if they had interest in trading him?
As far as undeniable , find me anywhere that we have come out and said we have any interest in Tivandale. So far it has been all the media.

Welsh for Tivendale would be the worst trade deal we have ever made. I'm certain it's just another little joke from Sheeds.

As far as undeniable , find me anywhere that we have come out and said we have any interest in Tivandale. So far it has been all the media.

the proof is that it is being written absolutely everywhere, Every paper has mentioned it. not just the HS. it even got a mention last year. the fact you have traded players like alvey, murphy, cupido and such in the past shows you sometimes think you can use these sometimes good- most times useless players.

Sheedy ought to stop thinking about bringing in rejects unless they specifically fit our needs and are 24 or less.

Wow it has been in all the papers and i forgot that once it has been in the paper it must be true because you cant make stuff up
We may well get Tivindale but no where has the club or Sheedy said it was definate.
Keep beliving all you read in the paper and the world will pass you by
