Agree on all counts except that Deledio is very selfish and never ever shares the ball. Classic example in the 3rd term running through the centre he had N Brown 50 meters in the clear and just bombed to a 3 on 1

We had the chace to get a 2nd round draft pick for Schulz now we would have to pay someone to take him off our hands. Tivendale wont be wearing a richmond jumper again, Pettifer will be traded come seasons end and Mcmahon im still giving another chance.

McMahon will not change, he is the biggest downhill skier in the comp. I am willing to bet that next week against Melbourne he will have 30 posessions and look like a star, but when the pressure is turned on and it is time to play against the big boys he turns from having great disposal to almost being a 19th player for the opposition with his turnovers. So glad we were able to get pick 19 (Callan Ward) for him last year.

Tuck = dumb. Don't worry, he won't be able to read this.
Overall - we're too DAMN SMALL! And skinny. And we can't kick. And we handball to blokes who are standing still. And we still can't tackle.
We had 10 first-round draft picks in the team, they had 3. We don't like solid, big-bodied efficient players like Doughty or Shirley or Knights or Van Berlo or... - they have a f@#kin production line of em.

I am probably gonna get flamed badly for this but what is the big issue with McMahon?? Has anybody actually had a look at the mans stats for this season? I will agree that he does sometimes turn the ball over badly, but the rest of the stats add up...
Third in disposals at the club behind Deledio and Foley
Turns the ball over less than Foley and has a better disposal effectiveness than both players (yes better than Lids)
Leads the team in rebound 50's

Stacks up much better than most on the list so just wondering what the big issue is?

Welcome to the board!
When things are going well, Jordy looks the goods.
But he has no defensive side to his game whatsoever. So when he gains 20 possessions, his man is slipping away quietly and gathering uncontested possessions in his team's forward 50 at will. Youi work out who's possessions are more damaging.
I maintain though, if and when we become a capable side, McMahon will be OK. He was rubbish last year because he played for a rubbish side.
Put him in the Dogs side this year and he would probably be travelling nicely.
Marginally better than Pettifer in the defensive pressure stakes, but I use the word marginally.
Next time we get pantsed, watch mcMahon's opponent for the whole game and you'll realise why.

I agree that the defensive side of his game can be a let down, but no more than King or Newman for a couple of examples. I just think that a few people on this board have been a bit premature to dismiss him after 11 rounds. Tivendale has surely played his last game, and hopefully Pettifer will generate some interest at the trade table (not likely) and if not agree with most has had his chances and must go..

Serioulsy, rebound 50's is the most useless stat in the game. Anybody could rack up rebound 50's in the back pocket. But last time I checked Jordy was a half-BACK-flank. The back suggestst that he should have at least some defensive side but it is yet to be seen
