Tivendale set for ACT

Very strong rumor that Tivers will sign with a local club in the ACT as captain.

For those of you that don't know much about our local league, its surprisingly strong and is what the Swans reserves play in.

Lets be honest, on his day Tivers is a great player. He should shine in this league as i believe he is still of AFL standard when on song.

Apparently he's just had a child and is keen to look for a career after footy in the ACT as a builder.

I will definitely be watching his first game.

I played up there for Ainslie on the backend of Cowboy and beginning of Heaver as Coach. They always seem to favour those with AFL Exp, would it be them?

Not sure about great on his day but good. Was very good in the VFL this year. He will tear it up in the ACT. good luck to him.

Prized Albury recruits Andy Carey and Michael Thompson attended the count, while the Tigers are one of many Ovens and Murray clubs chasing delisted Richmond player Chris Hyde.
It is believed Hyde, who played 93 AFL matches after being drafted from the Murray Bushrangers, is weighing up between playing in the O and M or Canberra after securing employment at Tumut.

Don't know what jobs are going in Tumut, maybe a lumberjack. But he's got a bit of a drive to get to training in either Canberra or Albury.

Tivendale should tear it up there. No offence ment to the Canberran league but Tivendale came second in the VFL B&F despite missing ~3 games due to playing for Richmond, and the VFL is obviously a higher level

this will be good for tivendale he doesn't have what it takes to play at the highest level anymore. He should dominate at this level.
