He's not competing for a ball above his head, he jumped when there was no need, to take a ball out in front of his chest.

Apparently there's second footage going around that shows he looked directly at Dahl too. The little campaigner knew exactly what he was doing! Throw the book at him.
Ok you are a biased Footscray(what are they called now) supporter. The handball to him was a shocker..slow high etc. As receiver you know you are going to get tackled..Dalhaus is a good tackler...Ok protect my space to give me some time. Foot goes out and makes accidental contact to Dahlaus who should have but didn't expect Greene( remember he saw him too) to do anything but land on his feet and take the tackle. Its called awareness of your enemy. you could go on and on but it has already been over analysed. The fact is players make split second decisions some are good some are bad..all of them have consequences. We all know where this is going the AFL / MRP will in all likely hood come up with some knee jerk reaction that lets face it can only go one way. So then everyone will dissect the penalty( coz there will be one). and we move onto next week and the next BS incident.

For a guy whose name is Substance you really have none.

We all challenge you or anyone supporting Greene to show a similar incident that is NOT a marking contest.

Go on. Do it. Show some guts and prove your point because at the moment you are the one without any substance whatsoever.

It is a contest. Wether it was for a mark or not.

Ive said what ive had to say. Going on other forms of media (both social and professional) people with more credibility than anyone here are saying he shouldnt be pinged either.

So we shall see what happens.

Though could you show anything that says he should be banned? Any former similar incidents?

Lol you can't claim that "experts" say he shouldn't be as a source of expertise when "experts" are also saying he should be.

Actually it's in your mind most people have. Do you have any data that supports this? I'm seeing a lot of Bulldog supporters who've just had their season ended, with Toby making his contribution.
Not convinced that means most people, or even objective people.
After last years Prelim, you think you would have learnt not to make rash statements. Maybe you are better off waiting until you actually win something.

After last Friday night, I think you guys would have learnt a little humility. You can watch us play finals this year though.
Get used to it, it'll be a while nefore you beat us again

There were plenty of Giants fans saying that after the final round of 2014 too

And yet your 'team' still looks a mile off doing it when it counts in finals
Haha
Not sure how you reached that conclusion except through tears.
We've several got AFL quality talls on our list. You've got Roughead. I cant see you fixing that in a hurry.

So we should get rid of tackling, because there's a chance the head gets hurt ? If it was a knee thus wouldn't be an issue, nor would it be if it was a diff player

I'll give you a chance to figure out why what you've said here is stupid....

think about it some more...

still haven't got it?!!!

try, this has nothing to do with tackling... LD never even got to tackle because he ran into the dangerously raised foot in the air

Harmes took a mark for Melbourne today and had his foot in a very similar position. Didn't connect with anyone, but it was the same type of action.

Reckless action but result was different, he took the onus for the high boot, shouldn't be pinged because he was obviously careful enough not to rake his studs across another players face.

No law against jumping.
