We all know who the #1 player in the comp is atm.
Debate of recent times on who is #2.
Now he might not be everyones cup of tea with some of his actions on field but i think its time for Toby Greene to be in the conversation as the 2nd best player in the comp.

I hate Greene's worst (kicks to the head) but he's been one of the best for years. A versatile player who can get plenty of ball when playing midfield and knows where the goals are when going forward.

I wish he wore teal

He is better than I thought. I thought he was a good player but has exceeded my opinion. Plays like a tough CHF. Top 10 in comp for sure.

Dogs are 6 and zip, Giants are 2-4.

Yes there is a lot more to it than that, but if I am building a team to challenge for a flag, Macrae is almost the first picked now (certainly ahead of Toby)

Did you watch last night's game ? Macrae's game was incredible and easily best on ground.

I prefer substance over style in my footy players.

Because most teams don’t like running taggers.

being tagged is not a good metric of whether you are damaging or not.

I don’t reckon giants would’ve won those games without Toby. I reckon bulldogs would still be 6-0 had macrae not played those games.

I'm pro GWS and GC expansion and have been concerned about player retention. Thus support the concept of COLA or some other support mechanism.

However on review of GWS's squad they have too many old guys and too many inexperienced youth. Thus Greene is wasting his time up there unless they are paying 50% over the odds.

Port should go after him, given gray is on his last legs. So to should 5-6 victorian clubs.

Would probably have 2-3 more AAs and a few more BnF’s if he didn’t get injured and suspended so often.

An almost wasted career accolades wise, but has consistently been in the best 15-25 players for the best part of 7 seasons now. Would love him at the Blues.

Yeah 1x B&F, 1x AA is too low for a player of his quality and someone who has been anointed the best player of his position for the last 5 years.

He looks in much better shape this year so should see the season out and add to that.
