Interesting that Mr McGrath has been strangely silent on Twitter this week.
Also interesting that he copped 3 weeks for smacking Morabito, considering he was quite vocal over a similar incident earlier in the year. Comments?

Not buying into the McGrath hate, but, FWIW, in the same game, it is very interesting to me that young Sheridan managed to step in and convince his Dockers teammate Haiden (the Hayden with an I) Schloithe to stay cool and not get reported.

Noting that young Shero was playing for Peel and Haiden plays for Sowfs!!

Great leadership effort from such a young kid as Sheridan, and goes some way to explaining why many posters doubt the AFL futures of other kids with less judgement, even when they are only 18 or 19 - see http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/wafl/14055186/wafl-whispers-ciccos-farewell-tour/ for details:

Docker Haiden Schloithe may be lucky that he was playing against his Fremantle colleague Tom Sheridan during the loss to Peel on Sunday...
Sheridan is only 18 but showed plenty of leadership when he grabbed Schloithe on the wing during the third quarter and appeared to give him some valuable advice about the value of keeping his cool for the next 30 or 40 minutes. Not that Sheridan was far from the action during the heated third term.

That's pretty cool, right there. I like reading about that sort of stuff.

I'm guessing Schloithe could throw a decent one too...
