"Together we are Collingwood" sounds like we're moving back towards "We are beautiful" or whatever the **** that was. I prefer the call to arms types of slogans than the mushy stuff.

Time then for battle haikus:

The time is now, so
March on the G to watch us
Sword the campaigners

I really don't like it. It's not as bad as some we've heard over the past years like "can you smell what the Blues are cooking" and "the Tigers are stirring".

I don't know what it is, but it just sounds awkward.

I think it'd sound sharper if we it we picked 3 key words that define us and then added "We are Collingwood".

Resiliency. Passion. Pride. We are Collingwood.

Anywho, that's just my two bob and it is what it is.

"...we stick together to uphold the magpies name..."

Together we uphold the magpie name.

Together we are Collingwood

Seems like a literal translation of a line in our theme song, rather than three words from it.

I agree it is a little too much "kumbaya" for me.......I am more inclined to go the Teddy Whitten approach.

I am still trying to come to terms with all this new age methodology and Gen Y!

Best one I've seen was at an Australia V South Africa game a few years back when Andre Nel was one of their fast bowlers. The sign read "Aussie Girls Love A.Nel". Cameras caught Nel having a bit of a chuckle at it.

I put a business idea to Quentin De Kock when he was out for the World Cup. As an opener he shows great defense and so I thought we could market something like the Buddy Ball...........in his case a bat that is weighted so as to accentuate the defensive posture and get the front elbow nice and high.

It's called De Kock Block.

GO PIES :)
