Don't be stupid. He has contributed about as much today as Chapman, Johnston, Mackie, et al. It was a very average team performance compounded by a Swans side on song.

Ah yes...the "true believers" always chip in. But think about it a little.
He has let us down consistently. That's why the thread is titled "had enough". He chokes BAD in tight situations. He takes one or two marks and we all think "oh yeah...he's finally coming good"...and then he friggin chokes again.
See the pattern? He is the player that is perpetually "almost there".
Who here honestly thinks that he will play a "major role" in the finals on the G? What role is that? Major role in turnovers maybe.

Are you serious? At least Hawkins Atacked the ball today, he had a hand in 3-4 goals! Did you see his attack on the ball on the wing, where he ran through the Sydney Player, got the ball and dishes it off? He had very clean hands around the contests, and except for that howler in the last quarter i thought his decision making was good. Which big man are you going to replace him with? Pods was much worse today, and moons probably hasnt played enough. I thought Hawkins was the least of our worries today. Chapmans level of disinterest and lack of effort is a more pressing concern.

Bad call, pathetic call, sadly predictable call.
Pretty easy target picking on one of the handful of whipping boys after a loss when almost the entire team was down. Happens every week.

In case you haven't noticed, there have been a number of threads dedicated to the disappointing form of Tom J Hawkins in the past.
Likewise, there have been threads dedicated to the disappointing form of Josh Hunt, Travis Varcoe, Tom Lonergan and a whole host of others over the years.
In other words, if I think Hawkins is not the answer, even though he has shown brief form on occasion, I think I am entitled to my opinion and should not be called for a ban or called a "twat" or "fairweather fan" by people who probably haven't been following this side with as much dedication or for nearly as long as I have. I was there in the 70's and 80's when we were bottom dwellers, going every week and right now I think I have the right to say that this guy has had his chances and is not good enough for the GFC.

suporters like the OP are HATED by players. I spent 2 years on an AFL list, and 9 at VFL/WAFL and as players we HATED supporters like the OP. and honestly. Tom Hawkins wasnt great today, but shit, neither was Pds, Chappy or any of them Hawk has been pretty good up until making way a week ago. He has been very good actually. And flogs on here saying they hate him and never want to see him in hoops again. HOnestly. He is playing as a key forward in an era and team that dont kick to key forwards. He is a great player and wont be going anywhere.

3 players on speed dial. well done champ... im gonna go out on a limb here, but fair to say your knowledge of footy is a very superficial knowledge, with little understanding of todays game plans, structures etc. Here you are not an hour after Geelong have lost their 1st game at home in 4 years, spewing ill informed hate to a bloke who has a premiership medallion and has played 70 odd (and will play another hundred at least) games of AFL footy. compared to your 30 years of stocking shelves at Bi Lo. Do us a favour and give your negative ill informed crap a spell.
