The risk of drafting Swift is his knees. However if we were to take that risk I wouldn't be disappointed.

He should still be there at pick 11.

We have to be prepared to have Beau Muston version two if we do.

We drafted Dawes because we didn't think that his knee would be a long term problem.

Obviously there are ways to predict whether a re-occurrence is likely. I'd back Collingwood to make the right decision.

He doesn't seem like the type of player we'd take though.

If he is there at our first round I'd pull the trigger so quick. I don't know why he has dropped off the radar but his year as an underage player player last year was simply outstanding and I reckon he would have gone first round last year.

Even if he is thought to be nabable at our second round I'd be willing to take him with our first on last years form all though I am not sure why he has dropped off the radar can someone enlighten me??? Where is he likely to be taken this year?

He's had two knee reconstructions.

That's why he's gone off the radar.

2 knee issues sounds like huge gamble with our first pick. We NEED classy mids that will be able to play. Not classy mids that sit on the sidelines.

The injury thing made him drop,

I rate him the second best midfielder in the draft (Rich being first)
about 191cm inside classy midfielder, in the u/17;'s he led contested marks, clearances, kicks, Skills are top notch, if he doesnt suffer any injuries he will be brilliant

Would love him at the hawks

If it is different injuries too different knees I would deffinately take him. FWIW Judd's shoulder's are the reason he slipped to 3. Selwood slipped due to o.p J-Mac slipped due to o.p and only having played 11 or so games in two years.

The fact that it's different injuries to different knees to me suggests that it's more then likely bad luck then anything else and that with the right rehab and training program he'd be fine.

A 191cm inside midfielder who led the competition contested marks, clearances and kicks at u/17 level is very promising.

I'd definitely pull the trigger on this kid at 11.

Personally, I'd be rapt if we took him.

If he is the second best mid in the draft i'd be shocked, regardless of injury. Let's cross our fingers though!
