--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Pick 72, it's pretty hard to judge so that will have to do for me. Tommyneu.

Pick 4: Option from Cotchin > Erbert > Henderson > Palmer. (Not Masten)
Hopefully its Cotchin. If not would look at Erbert next. Don't mind Henderson and Palmer, however, Henderson's injury is a concern and Palmer, might wanting to return WA sooner or later.

Pick 14: Scott Simpson
He is the man the club need to replace Neitz. Simpson is a gun.

Pick 21: Gaertner
Since Rance will be taken at top 10, a KPP FB is required. Gaernter is the one best available.

Pick 53: Thoolan
KPP FF. Handy player, similar to size to Ben Holland. Might worth develop this player as a backman as well.

Pick 69:
A midfielder with pace.

Pick 85:
Same as pick 69 or best recycle player available.

Doubt the club will draft a ruckman with the inclusion of Meeson. Having to add Meeson, there are 4 ruckman on list: White, P Johnson, Jamar & Meeson.

Must save one spot for PSD or 2 spots if Pick 85 is not used.

Thoughts?

Are u purely discounting Masten cause of a "go home factor" or is it somethign else injury? Most ppl are having him at 4

Masten at 4 would be ok although he seems like another McLean and Jones type player... do we need another?

Not keen on McEvoy at all, and if this Simpson bloke is as good as everyone suggests then why the hell is he falling through to pick #21?

Masten apparently has OP.

Cotchin is definitely the man we want with 4, won't get there unless richmond do something richmondlike and pick some random dud and west coast go with morton

Wont happen, WCE will take Cotchin even if Morton is available.

btu he's not the pure midfielder u want to replace judd and cousins. it will take him 4-5 years to build up a fitness base, masten is your man

Nah, Cotchin has the ability to step straight into the side as a HFF/Mid.

After Woodhouse found out that Judd was leaving he said that we wanted to get Cotchin with our first pick and with the Cousins saga this will only enforce that thought.

Cotchin is the one midfielder that could turn into the next Judd (Elite Midfielder) and IMO is the best player in the draft.

While i would love to get Masten for other reasons (Has an amazing amount of links with the eagles). Cotchin is the one we will pick if he is available IMO.

If West Coast has expressed their concerns on Judd factor leaving WA to Carlton directly to AFL. Would they want to repeat this (Judd's case) again in the next few years?

Well, 24th November will tell.

No chance that they will take a lesser player from WA if there is a better player from Victoria available.

They have a very good record of keeping good players from interstate at the club. But yes like you said we will wait and see.

Good effort to put something out there, I'm happy with what you've done because we get a midfielder, a key position player and a ruckmen. Which players we actually get doesn't bother me too much because we have no idea on whether they will actually be able to play, but getting a good spread with our top picks makes sense to me.
