3 goals on a half sized ground is hardly getting thier pants pulled down

I suppose you are right. Peverill is probably tagging spriggs so he's probably pumped it in to Ted a dozen times alone. Let's not forget Ted is no good. If Fletch is playing on him i'll throw up.

Lay off Bolts. Gee, we don't even know what postion he is playing and we are already bagging him. At least let him stuff up before you start paying him out. Great supporters we are!

LOL we do tend to cannibalize our own very quickly at times.

One thing that does annoy me is Ted Richards doing well (no disrespect to Ted as i hope he keeps playing well).Sure he was a bit of a fall guy but before last season he simply wasnt ready. I was looking forward to him playing this year , i remember thinking during the last half of the season with Bendigo ( the last two finals games he simply looked a class above VFL) and the seniors that finally he is ready to step up and now it is not with us:mad:

Havn't heard about any new injuries. Please no-one spoil my night.
No injuries.

Report according to Gary O'Donnell:

-Winders played very well off half back and was running very well.
-Kepler is amazing. Opposition teams keep letting him be the loose man off half back, and he just reads the ball so well. He's ready to start shutting down players.
-Campo had a good first game for the club. Will help him know where teammates run etc.
-Lloydy got through his first game of the year ok. He's happy with Campo.
-Sakaki got a touch early on, dropped a mark at CHF which would've seen him have a shot at goal. Kicked it long into the goalsquare early on also.

And according to someone who was at the game:

Best : Bradley, Gus, Winders, Jobe, Campo

I am glad that Teddy did well for them, serves sheeds right for giving players like Bolts and Henno much more game time then him even if he deserves it more.

You managed to drag up Hennos name, despite the fact he didn't play. Fair effort.

FWIW, Lovett Murray was playing on Teddy.

Spent the night behind the city-end goals and let's just say that Lloyd is not a captain's bootlace. He was snapping back at the supporters at our end and was playing for himself for most of the game. Hird should have bucked this new modern trend of treating a club captaincy as something that players have the right to drop. He is streets ahead as a player and a captain.

The little Japanese fella was completely useless and would not have got a game in Division 2 reserves here in Sydney. It's not his fault, but he just isn't any good. By giving him a run, is Sheedy saying that he is better than any player running around in Country Victoria, or any other league in Australia. Sounds like it to me. Either that, or this is just another one of his projects to keep him interested in footy.

Campo is soft, sorry, he is. The Johnson's are so much better than him. If he is your answer in the guts, then you are in more trouble than my team, The Hawks.

Bradley was very much a shining light on a night when i think you were shown up by a much less experienced side, despite what the scoreboard says.

A friend of mine who works for the swans was at the game. He bags essendon all the time so his opinions are on the tough side. he spoke glowingly of Angus Monfries- likens him to Ball because of courage and decision making. Thought Bradley was very good and rated Winderlichs game high after saying he thought he couldnt play. he said Lloyd was clearly short of a gallop and said Campo played as expected ie got a fair bit of the ball but is not accountable for opponent at stoppages or flow of game. I think its a disgrace that the Japanese players are getting a game. I could name lots of good TAC players who missed out in drafts who are a zillion times better.

That wouldn't be much use to an exchange program designed to help encourage the fledging Japanese leagues. It wasn't about trialling him for an AFL spot - which the TAC players have plenty of chances to do anyway, far more than say an overseas player. Him playing in that game was a bonus to the expected program for him and Kase, as a reward for the absolute dedication and surprising form he'd shown to that point. It's not like if they hadn't of played him they would have replaced with someone else from outside the club to give them a chance.. so no harm no foul.
