8:40 p.m. indeed, and outside of www.afl.com.au having live in-game updates, not sure of any other way.

Quite uncertain whether Geelong's station, K-ROCK, would have a streaming webcast through their link at www.krock.com.au, and not sure what stations in Queensland are doing. Maybe the Lions fans can fill us in on that...

Update: Just checked the K-ROCK site, and they do not have a "listen live" link.

Not sure if any of the AFL's regional broadcast partners do, since that would run in violation, I assume, with the AFL's premium subscription package through afl.com.au.

Not to be taken as gospel, just my humble assumption...

98.8 fm which is the indiginous radio is Australia wide, and normally has the Lions matches.

Thats interesting about the non AFL rules for bad weather. Its a real concern.Imagine if there is a bank of violent electrical storms come through,as can do up north.

I think that would be one of those cases, rare as they are, where the officials would suspend play. It's been known to happen in other sports, and not just with footy codes, either.
