Yep , they are a great team and Geelong supporters are lucky to follow them ATM . They dont have any dud players , best backline and midfield in the comp by a stretch .
I hate it when North lose , but i am realistic and know that We were beaten by the best Outfit in the game and somehow it makes it easier to cope with

Let's face it, unless Ablett, Corey, Selwood, Bartel, Ottens, Scarlett and Mooney all fall over running through the banner and get concussed, we won't have any chance to beat you, and even then, we (as the other 7 team collective) probably won't beat you.

I'll just take positives from the game, that we did score a fairly reasonable total, with just one forward, and our midfielders way down on form, with limited forward 50 entries.

Chances are we will play you in 2 weeks, and hopefully Laidley will have isolated where to stop you guys, so it'll be a better contest. It's so disheatening for a supporter, to think that we were matching it with you guys, for the first quarter and a half, only for you to just kick into gear for 10mins, kick 5 goals, and seal the game.
Pretty much happened in Round 20 last year as well.

Definitely no certainties, but we just have to beat Port I think and if we don't do that then we really don't deserve 4th spot.


Midfield murdered us today, very good win by the Cats. If only we could get more of the ball to Hale, he was on fire. Oh well, lets hope we learned some lessons in case we meet in the finals.

I'm not sure if it was the KRock callers influencing me today or not, but Simpson was pretty terrible overall today. Harvey was always going to have a tough day, even if he did get a bit of the ball, and Wells seemed to be collecting a fair bit of footy backward of centre. But every time simpson got the ball, he just seemed to bang it on the boot in whatever fashion suited to disposing of it instantaneously. He kicked a couple of spiral helicopter punts straight out of the centre and down Geelong backmens throats.

Overall your midfield struggled, and the key to beating you guys is locking down harvey, as you cannot rely on Wells who even though is a good player, won't win you matches off his own boot without harvey. especially matches against geelong.

Im not sure they dont have any dud players, what do people here think about Varcoe, Rooke and Byrnes although Byrnes isnt a regualar in the side. i dont think they are much at all and prismall should be in every week before all 3
