I'm not gonna do my own list as I feel I would be too biased, but what would be the top 10 rated small forwards in the AFL, for you.

When I say small forward I mean in the mold of a Milne, Didak, Betts, Rioli, LeCras, Stokes, Varcoe, Nathan Brown, Steve Johnson, Schneider...

I thought this is what the new list board is for these type of threads are clogging the main board.

1. Steve Johnson
2. Leon Davis
2. Cyril Rioli
3. Mark LeCras
4. Stephen Milne
5. Eddie Betts
6. Jason Akermanis
7. Shaun Higgins
8. Travis Varcoe
9. Adam Schneider
10. Matthew Stokes

Johnson and Aker are probably not considered small forwards. More mid sized forwards. Only including Davis in this because I have him as a forward in my AA team and he's small. Probably more of a midfielder though. Same with Higgins. Probably not all true small forwards but it's close enough.

yes, this is always problematic.

You get small forwards who play like taller ones (Medhurst, Ebert)
Then you get tall forwards like Steven Johnson who can play like small ones.

Surely not on this season's form. Didaks only played about 4 games hasn't he?
He's starred in them....3 goals and 20 touches on the weekend, I think the game before he got injured he got 3 goals and about 30 touches.

On form displayed when fit, I'd have him in there.

I wouldn't go that far. He was good in the first two rounds and last Sunday but he was average against Geelong and Brisbane. He's missed 5 games with injury. When fit he'd be top 5 in this list but he's definately not based on this season.

If Aker (178cm) and B.Johnson (183cm) are classed as medium forwards then why have you got Steve Johnson (187cm) at number 1?

Steve Johnson is way better than Motlop mate

you idiot.

of course steve johnson shits on motlop but what he was saying was that if stevie j is classified as a small forward then daniel motlop is, as he is small and is more of a forward. And he was also saying if Daniel Motlop is classified as a small forward then he is definitely in the top 10, which is most definitely correct.

read previous posts etc first.
