Interesting nominations

I discovered Dust My Broom is not about housework [apart from the title], nor is I Want To Break Free [thank you for refreshing that image of Freddie in drag though ]. And She Works Hard For The Money is about prostitution.
The Celibate Rifles clip / song is quite an acid depiction of suburban life.
The Ren and Stimpy tune made me smile - can imagine someone busily doing housework to that tune. Sadie was doing somebody else's cleaning but good choice.
The Ballad of Lucy Jordan is sad but very good song.
