Is Carlton genuine top 4 material this year?

I don't think so, not this year. Made too many mistakes on the field last year and I can't see that many mistakes being eroded from the boys.

I truly hope I'm wrong in what I say, I yearn for the glory days again.

Top 4 is, IMHO, highly unlikely this year.

But be patient, we'll get there.

Given we went for skilled users of the ball, Johnson, Robinson, Yarran,
and a ruck, i don't see why not.

We were the kings of going bang in the last quarter,
it was just we lacked some polish/finishing skills.

The players are fit, Judd & Stevens will be even better than last year so i am expecting, not hoping this year.

The list we have right now,
is the one that will play off in finals in years to come.

IMO top 4 just beyond us in 09, but watch out come 2010 and beyond, number 17 isnt far away.
