I njust reckon loewe and burke were a little more consistent and also were better leaders
He was my favourite player of years.

My 5 all time greatest favourite players were
Winmar- Number 7
Hayes- Number 7
Lockett Number 14, 4
Harvey- Number 35
Riewoldt- Number 12.

So with Lenny taking Nicky's number i didnt have to change the number on my back. :D

I reckon hayes has a long way to go before i consider him in the top 5 i've seen. Snickers you can't seriously have him above loewe and burkey can you?
I think the way he plays, and the way he goes about his footy, I classify that as a excellent.

Top 5 IMO doesnt neccisarilly mean that the Top 5 players have to be the best skilled.

Lenny tackles hard, and does alot of the 1%ers, which sometimes go unnoticed. And thats what i classify as Top 5.

Bentley, the thread asks for the poster's top 5, the thread is not about anticipating Bentleigh's top 5 (as who would give a toss).

Now stop your small-minded vendatta against Snickers as it is so childish, if you have anything valuable to add, then do so just don't be such a dill.

Any who reckons Hayes is in 3rd best player at St Kilda in its proud history is a moron.

Thats what i said......... I specifically said "in no order"

And i just judged it on the players i have seen, and the contribution the make to the team.

So get a life, you boring, stupid, pathetic child and crawl back down the toilet you came from you stupid moron.

You are so pathetic Bentleigh, I have never known come across or even spoken to someone who is so pathetic, immature and completley and utterly obsessed with me.

Bentleigh, I picked Jeff Dunne as one of my top 5 players.

I do not believe that JD is one of the 5 best players to have ever proudly worn the Red, White and Black, but he is in my top 5 because of the amount of pleasure I had watching this bearded marvel rebound the ball from the back pocket again, again and again. The guy had so much heart, he never gave in and he did this despite playing for St Kilda in an era where success was a rare luxury (much as it is now for Richmond).

Snickers is entitled to his opinion, as I am to mine. Hayes is a remarkable player, a Captain of our great club in an era of success and one of the most respected footballers playing today.

Get a life. You have no point.
