I personally think he is around the Swallow/Boyd/Tuck range (and top 15 in every other award I can find (often ahead of these blokes) would back that up).

Given, however, that Birchall is 20th - Mitchell has certainly had a better overall season than him.

I'm actually comfortable about where Boyd is. Some of you say he is too high, but he is easily overlooked if no one watches him during games, and at the end of the match when you look at the stats sheet he has 30+ disposals next to his name and you think "Where did that come from?". When you do watch him closely you end up noticing he does a lot of the dirty work for the Bulldogs. Great player, despite being unspectacular like all the other inside midfielders in and around him.

Quite liked Schoenmakers game as well.
Could've easily given Franklin more because of his dominant 1st quarter but he shut up shop after half time.

This is true but I think the majority of the blame of this lies squarely on the shoulders of our midfield.
Naitanui was putting the ball in really good positions and many times an Eagle was a split second away from a great clearance and then the Hawthorn hardnuts would overwhelm him.
Thought we wasted Naitanui's good ruck work tonight, rather than it being poor.
Certainly he didn't get very involved around the ground.

I watched the tailend of the match and in the post-game Leigh Matthews gave the BOG to Roughead... probably deserves more than a 6

Roughead's stats for the night were 3 HO's, 7 marks & 18 disposals. Solid effort, but was mainly attempting to negate Naitanui's jump in the ruck, and had a few good moments around the ground. Maybe deserves a 7 though, but I think Mitchell and Scott Selwood were clear BOG.

Whenever a ruck duo is perceived as coming remotely close to breaking even with Cox & NN, they are often given BOG by the media. Between Hale & Roughy, they had 15 HO's to 52 for the WCE duo. You cant overlook that stat, 3.5 times the HO's. NN's 9 tackles would have to be remarkably high for a ruckman as well, I felt he tried hard all night without the bounce necessarily going his way.

Shuey was good, but I thought he was really wasteful, and I had more faith in Masten whenever he had the ball. Masten deserves a 6 imo.

I would of thought 50-100 was about right.
Franklin, Hawkins, Pav, Walker & Petrie all in front of Reiwoldt IMO.
