Wanted to have a crack at a phantom draft, just going to do the top 50 picks. I'll say why I think the team will pick them but, there are enough in depth profiles around of the players that I don't need to do them. Remember it is just an opinion so enjoy.

#1 St Kilda - Christian Petracca
Why - Could become unstoppable
#2 Melbourne - Angus Brayshaw
Why - Will play round 1 and is a complete midfielder.
#3 Melbourne - Jake Lever
Why - Can play as the third tall along side Frost and McDonald but, wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being a midfielder.
#4 Greater Western Sydney - Jayden Laverde
Why - Damaging utility who would fit in nicely on the wing with Josh Kelly.
#5 Collingwood - Jordan De Goey
Why - Can fill the hole left by Beams perfectly.
#6 Greater Western Sydney - Patrick McCartin
Why - Boyd, Jaksch gone and Patton injured fills a need. Also just stocking up their talls again.
#7 Greater Western Sydney - Hugh Goddard
Why - Could become a key figure in their backline for years to come.
#8 Gold Coast - Jarrod Pickett

Why - They need him and if he healthy he could be anything.
#12 Richmond - Liam Duggan

Why - Gives them a ver skilled mid.
#15 Gold Coast - Kyle Langford
Why - Could be a steal if he develops like they hope, something different to what they already have.

Why - Wants to be drafted close to his brother in Victoria. Can't see us passing on him if he slides and fits perfectly with Boomer, Wellsy and Dal getting on in age.
#17 Essendon - Jarrod Garlett
Why - Highly skilled mid with pace and endurance to burn.
#18 Sydney - Isaac Heeney
