Don't rate Tomlinson that much I'm guessing? I was keen on him before the Boyd trade.
Forgot about him, I'd have him ahead of Day but behind the rest. Really rate Thompson and May in the backline

Disagree. J mac ain't silly. We have to start watching cap space. We need to keep Bontempelli, Libba, Stringer, Macrae, Hrovat etc. and if we keep saying "we have the cap space to attack a certain player" one of those is going to get prised loose.
We had a big crack at May apparently.Forgot about him, I'd have him ahead of Day but behind the rest. Really rate Thompson and May in the backline

Mofra get where you are coming from but in my opinion Redpath looked better down back for FootscrayI disagree - Austin played 11 games in 2014 as a role player, and some of those were par.
Redpath barely got near it - 2 goals in 3 games from a guy who is older than Jones.
I love his style of play but I'd keep Austin as a depth player before I gave Redpath another shot - we have Boyd to play the stay at home FF and there is a chance Roughy will play forward this year if we want Boyd cover.
We are very, very thin for key defender positions on our list.
Hopefully the coach is appointed by then so they can at least have some input.
I like that idea very muchIf we can speed up the destruction of GWS by raiding their players, AND win a flag in the process, my AFL bucket list would be complete... almost.
Hoskin-Elliot would cost a fair bit, atleast our first pick (which will probably be top five).
Made it no secret that I love him as a player, I think he is as close to a Stevie J clone as you'll get.
Last year he did but he showed this year that he does have some forward instincts. Personally I think he has an uphill battle to try to get his conditioning up to scratch but he could be handyMofra get where you are coming from but in my opinion Redpath looked better down back for Footscray
Would rather Sewell, yep he's slow but he was nearly best 22 in the premiership team.
Better yet seems a leader and would add a lot of that key quality that is apparently missing from the club.
I know he has 'retired' but we should be looking to talk him out of it. I'd pick Sewell ahead of M Boyd just because of the culture and leadership he brings to the group from a successful club.
There is a leadership vacuum at the club, recently retired guys from successful clubs, like Sewell or even an LRT should be looked at seriously.
McLean would help the kids out. He knows how to find the ball and with Boyds calf injury problems over the last 2 seasons he would be a good back up and adds much needed experience.
No to Robinson, don't need more "culcha" issues.

Maybe you are right. We can't get Crossy back, so a 28 year old turtle than can find the ball whilst Jong is finding his feet and Clay is recovering maybe worth it.The problem with McLean is pace. I'd rather not add another turtle to a midfield that would come a close second to a sloth in a 20m sprint.
Agree and have serious doubts, but has much more upside at both ends than AustinLast year he did but he showed this year that he does have some forward instincts. Personally I think he has an uphill battle to try to get his conditioning up to scratch but he could be handy
I can see that side of it, but I'm just not sure it's the right type of player to bring in. Boyd's still there to play basically the same role (although I have a hunch that a new coach will make him our full time tagger and unleash Wallis). Libba can stand on his own two feet. Wallis is a very important structural piece and plays his role exceptionally well. Stevens' inside work improved tenfold this year and likely gets more midfield time as a result of Griffen's exit. Just not sure, personally, whether a slow, ageing ball-winner with average disposal is the right fit for us at the moment. I'm all for looking for experienced heads but I don't really see the appeal of a McLean/Sewell type at this stage.Maybe you are right. One of them, Fronk, i think is very likely (carlisle easiest perhaps), both...very unlikely for mine.More I think about it, the more in convinced it was so so important to grab Boyd this year rather than next. Would have made it difficult to get the trade assets together to get him and a Carlisle/WHE/Kelly. Gives us a good run at that next season with Boyd already in the bag.
Anyone think we can get Carlisle AND WHE/Kelly?? Tough. Would need one to come via the psd I reckon.

Thanks dannnnnnfronkalicious Sos made sure he locked Kelly down long-term (he's obsessed with him as a player). Doesn't come out of contract until the end of 2017.
