99%staying in Sydney - what a joke!! Mark Robinson will thinking of more shit to say about us I guess. He would never say anything about Hawthorn,Collingwood or his beloved Essendon. Can't wait to see the shit he will write when we get WHE.

Wonder if this has been the plan all along. Think we underrate just how much list space we have. Griff, Coons, Higgins and to a lesser extent Jones all out which is fair decent chunk right there, Murph, Minno, Moz, Boyd would still be among our highest paid players you'd imagine and they will all be finishing up around the same time as our kids are getting into the lower paid ends of their contracts which should free up a huge amount as well. Our kids will be starting to command large money but still cheaper than if we were bringing em over from other clubs. Still wish we could get a large portion of Tom Boyds contract out of the way this year when we have the most room to play with, still if we set ourselves up well we can just continue to heavily front load contracts.

Maybe the idea has been all along to just completely deck out the midfield quickly through the draft and then bring in some quality talls through trades/FA. Sounds like a real possibility we could nab a Carlisle or Rance (hasn't been any talk on Rance definitely fits what I'd imagine we'd be targeting).

If the WHE talk is true assuming we have a pick in the 5-10 range, would that be enough on it's own to land him? Considering he's out of contract and assuming he nominates us? Reckon we'd offer it up and hold firm on it.

Still gonna hit the draft hard this year, hopefully bring in WHE who would be absolutely unreal to add to our midfield, and a semi mature tall preferably KPD (although I'm pretty confident Roberts, Roughy and Talia could maybe solve that need this year)

You pull off that and I reckon anything less than top 8 in 2016 would be a bit disappointing, the team should really be coming into it's own by then, providing we get the right coaching set up in place.

From then we'd really be a very attractive option for FA for the coming years and hopefully the chance of success would allow us to bring some in at reasonable prices.

Once you get there you can pretty much just ride it out for quite a few years just trading out fringe players for decent deals (people overrate good teams depth players!) and bringing in FAs while smashing the draft, with good management we really shouldn't need to bottom out for quite a long time!

Jeez, GWS can't afford to lose Treloar. Behind Cameron he is their best kid IMO. A jet. You hear all this hype about O'Meara but I'd take Treloar over him every day of the week.

Just sitting with the little birdie. If anyone has any questions for me to ask, fire away.

Latest is Austin's out. Cooney out is a huge result because he's good mates with Stringer and it wasn't going to end well. They tried to get him out of the state TBH. Drafting is still up in the air, but fair to say that with 4,6 and 7 the birdie was excited, still thinks we'll get someone good at 26&27. Rest is a lottery but it'll be best available. Grant is already back training and will be a focus next year. He's rapt we got Boyd. And so is everyone else. Roughead will stay back for the moment. Talia is happy now but did have a falling out with the coach and also wasn't playing well. Jong is someone they're all impressed with. Anything else I'll put in later.

Is Cooney that bad of a role model?

I'm not sure what this means - are you saying Cooney was going to be a bad influence on Stringer so it's good we were able to trade him?

Any idea who the targets are at 26 and 27? Any prospects that haven't been talked about here that are being looked at with any pick, some that might surprise us?

Will Jack Redpath be retained?

You'd be happy with that!

I'm a little surprised to hear that of Cooney. I'm not sure I want to know why...

Is anyone in particular on thin ice in 2015, besides the usual 1/2 year contract specialists?

In what way?

"Extra-curricular activities"?
I will go out on a limb and say Cooney doesn't strike me as the most professional of indeviduals. Joker bordering on ****wit may apply at times, plus best mates with Lake, who himself is a strange fellow to say the least. Doesn't take much to lead a young fella astray, and jake is a dad now, so being serious about his future is being serious about his family future.

Just a guess, though.
