Absolutely no way the GC would draft JUH, if 16 other clubs' due diligence told them not to. Evans has been told what to do in this situation no doubt, not even convinced Hardwick has a say in it at all.

That would be ideal. Good spot in the draft for us to nab a couple of quality players before the depth drop off as well.

Not saying that would be the whole trade if it were to go ahead. As we all know it's not even going to happen anyway. Just disappointed we haven't got anything to show for all the big talk of going after a KPD

Would do 15 for Butts + F2 make sure we stock up on picks for bids and Butters but outside of that wouldn't do it and they have nothing low in the draft

I’m assuming it’s so bad that his option was $250k next year with GC or nothing and being sacked.

I reiterate JUH does not walk away from the 900k

His only option was set up by AFL that is GC pay 250k and we the AFL kick in the rest.

No other club was offered that deal only a franchise of the AFL

Much happier trying to develop Buss, Croft and JOD than giving a go to another fringe KPD.

Happy to tap out and rely on development and draft to improve if there isn’t a proven player available.

I'm more than happy to back in development, but I just want to see a little more urgency too as we reach the end of Libba's and Treloar's careers, with the bont not much further behind.

i get relying on development if our list was 3 years younger but realistically we need to push for a flag now , our midfield is starting to look old, buss still looked very green and atleast 2 -3 years off it.

will we still be in contention in 3 years time if we dont keep refreshing our list or pushing hard now?
