Saints offering Flanders 5 x 900k according to Twomey![]()
How can you disagree with facts? Voss was doing nothing Amiss and Tracey were killing us?I disagree he was the best performing of our talls, because it was noticeable how his lack of speed and ability to defend space got exposed as they went on a run - he was ineffective in blocking space that forced their ball entry to be weaker. He was slow to react and when he did react he didn't have the legspeed. This allowed opponents to get free and have space in dangerous areas.
There's more to defensive work than just one on ones.
Answer me this: other than a simple "Bevo was wrong and he can't coach" answer, do you have an tactical or strategic explanation as to why Buss was subbed off, if he was playing so well? There has to be one.

Why did he decide he was the easier of the three to lose? How can you disagree with facts? Voss was doing nothing Amiss and Tracey were killing us?
Bevo subbed him for more run and decided he was the easier of the 3 to lose
Again well ahead of others. $750k (roughly) more then what Melbourne are offering.Saints offering Flanders 5 x 900k according to Twomey![]()

I have no evidence for my theory but is this why so many players now seem keen to sign long term deals? Sign a six year deal for $1.2 mill for the first three years then $800k for the last three. Say you want out after three years and go somewhere else on a six year deal for$1.2 million for the first three years and $800k for the last three. Rinse and repeat. Are there any rules against this? But the saints have instead frontloaded ALL contracts for the last 3 years so the rest of their players are on sweet **** all for the last few years of their contracts. They need to spend all this money or they don’t break the cap floor.

Edit: total over 5 years.
It's why Freo fans were so upset about the Lobb situation.I have no evidence for my theory but is this why so many players now seem keen to sign long term deals? It's part of why saints supporters are upset about us going after Wilkie ... despite not going to get himIt's why Freo fans were so upset about the Lobb situation.
Be even funnier if we can get it for Marra plus points, and then give it back to them for WilkiePick 7 for Flanders is funny![]()
I have a mate that follows the saints and he is pissed off that we have are going after Wilkie when he is contracted. I just tell him he can’t get upset since they are going after Flanders and Liam Ryan who by the way are both contracted playersIt's part of why saints supporters are upset about us going after Wilkie ... despite not going to get him
That seems to be their mentality.I have a mate that follows the saints and he is pissed off that we have are going after Wilkie when he is contracted. I just tell him he can’t get upset since they are going after Flanders and Liam Ryan who by the way are both contracted players

Tom Morris said on Sen breakfast that Wilkie is lucky to stay and he won’t push for a tradeSurely it had to end with a Wilkie pay rise or trade request
They are dreaming nothing about Essendon offering moreSaints supporters going with Essendon offering more haha... sure
There was a point I would have considered Cox, just because he’s actually a pretty competent ruckman and would be a good relief option when Tim’s getting murdered, and is a forward target.Collingwood have told Mason Cox and Tom Mitchell to look elsewhere. Doubt either would get picked up, maybe Saints.![]()
