Tom Morris said on radio this morning that recruiters have told him this is one of the worst drafts they have ever seen.Pick 7 for Flanders is funny![]()
And they aren't even star players they are solid role players to maybe B graders this couldn't possibly go pear shapedLiterally outbidding everyone by a fair margin on multiple players lol..

Perhaps, but there will still be good players, especially that high up.Tom Morris said on radio this morning that recruiters have told him this is one of the worst drafts they have ever seen.

I would, if he was happy with one, throw a rookie lifeline at Mitchell. People will hate it but I have always rated him like Libba. Both have limitations, but they are great at what they do and set up the users.

He could play a role like Kennedy does.
That being said, I think the Roos, WCE, or Essendon, would be crazy to not look at him.
Could the saints fit Flanders on $900k PLUS a pay rise for Wilkie?
He has a contract.Gardner been given the flick yet?
He won't publicly request a trade if a deal isn't atleast on the table. Saints at this stage still refusing to budge on his deal but also not entertaining a trade. They're relying on him not being the type to blow things out publicly and professional enough to play on knowing he is foregoing a huge increase, seems at this stage he is prepared to do that. Either way we will know next week.Surely it had to end with a Wilkie pay rise or trade request
Least flexible in case of injury. JOD can play anywhere and Lobb can Ruck. Pretty logical I would have thought. Why did he decide he was the easier of the three to lose?

I couldn’t be more confident that Buss will be a very good full back. I watched him closely this season in the vfl in particular. Reads the play very well, holds his position well (doesn’t get lost like Gardner or Lewis Young used to) has good disposal and has a good amount of competitiveness. Don’t worry about the speed, lots of quality kpd are slow. In the right system Buss will be more than just ok. Bookmark it.We have been spoiled with having Naughts come in and impact from Season 1. This is not at all usual for KPP especially those that aren't exceptionally athletically gifted.
Richmond's Dynasty backline took time from the time they were drafted to becoming the players they eventually were.
Some patience is going to be required but it just maybe worth the weight. We most certainly need a FB Anchor and hopefully Sammy will come through. I see signs with both JOD and Buss.
Buss impressed me in the VFL Grand Final, in the last quarter. When the pressure was at it's most intense he led out took the mark under defensive heat. Then had the mental composure to go back and calm himself and slot the goal under a lot of situational pressure.
That is something that can't be taught you either have it or you don't. If Buss makes it won't be because he is an athletic freak. It will be because of his ability to read the game. And be in the right spot at the right time ala Weitering. Think he just needs to live in the gym for the next 2-3 Off Seasons
That's a fair callHe’ll just take sanders minutes.
Slow, can’t play fwd, no thanks.

They're only doing this to keep NWM beyond 2027, such a stupid strategy to risk it all for one player
They are complaining about Father Sons and academies but are giving GC a high draft pick to pay for their Academies![]()
The dogs aren't trading out so...If it turns out to be anything like the 2020 draft, you want to get out of it quickly. Maybe take a few chances in the back half of the draft.

Speed - Generally, although he did catch Hill (no one expected that)What are Libba's limitations?
Would be surprising if a 29 yo would leave 1.8m on the table over 4 years unless Saints revised his contract. For all the splashing of cash not enough needle movers to put them in contention for a flag. He's not too bright then
Yeah, but he can kick goals in AsiaSpeed - Generally, although he did catch Hill (no one expected that)
Penetration on disposal - particularly by foot.
Burst speed - Getting away from congestion.
Every player has limitations, even The Bont, the good ones overcome them by excelling in other areas. The good coaches, give the player the opportunity to.
We won't get him let's be honest. The Saints are insulted that we even triedWould be surprising if a 29 yo would leave 1.8m on the table over 4 years unless Saints revised his contract. For all the splashing of cash not enough needle movers to put them in contention for a flag.
With us he could be the missing ingredient and pick up an extra 1.8m over 4 would have to be very tempting. Tuesday we will know one way or three other

The longer it drugs out the less confident I would be as a Saints supporter. Chances are he stays but will have cost the Saints 300-400k to appease him. And when it all fails apart at some point as there isn't enough high end quality they are bringing in will be hilariousWe won't get him let's be honest. The Saints are insulted that we even tried![]()
Hopefully the club is working on a back up pain don’t think Sam Power would be silly enough to put all the eggs into the Wilkie bucketHe won't publicly request a trade if a deal isn't atleast on the table.
