I was surprised they were interested. Personally, I think he'd be a horrible option for a team with young and impressionable players. I think he needs to get out of Victoria to a team with a very strong coach and leadership team. I don't think the Lovey Dovey shit would work with him.
Sydney, Brisbane, WCE from 7 years ago is what I think you should look for.

When was that? Only time I’ve heard him talking about us was when he said Brisbane did a lot more running in pre-season but it wasn’t a clip at us, he explained that our drills were more football-oriented and less pure running than Brisbane

Wasn't that the club was unprofessional but more so certain players, Hunter and Bruce are two that ruffled some feathers with their lack of ''taking it seriously''
We all know there has been issues but maybe more is being hiding regarding his behaviour than the general public know. Seems odd no one would take a punt on him when you could virtually get him for nothing.

Just have to look at the company he keeps.
I think it's as simple as this... we won the GF in 16, we were spoken about having a dynasty as most of our team where young, then I think a few of the younger blokes thought, hey, this is pretty easy and took the foot of the gas and started playing up bit outside of the club. That obviously didn't sit well with Dunks... he was probably more mature at the same age as Stringer, hunter and Dahl etc etc...
yeah I get that, Dustin Martin kept some bad company too but it didn't affect his football.

Of course you keep Freijah, but Sanders is a more interesting question. When you look at the intensity of the GF and the finals series, and the way most midfields and forwards, essentially the whole team, pressure, harass, and tackle, it’s hard to see Sanders playing that style of footy. He’s already a highly professional athlete, so it’s not a case of shedding weight or suddenly finding pace. Beyond natural growth with age, there isn’t much scope for improvement.
The Dogs need to decide whether to hold him for a couple more years and hope he retains value for a Tasmania trade, or risk him being found out next season and losing that value, which would mean moving him now. I assume that will be front of mind at the club.

Again though, when has he said that? We’re just putting words into his mouth. He says he left because he saw himself living long-term in QLD where his partner was from. Bevo alluded to money as the factor at our BnF. Everything else is just rumours and media speculation
