Sorry for the negative first post but going into next season with Jod in the team and Gardner the best backup is grim. I can't see Butters nominating us next year if we have a similar or worse season to this year and get leapfrogged by the likes of St Kilda

If we can't improve our defence we should at least be looking to improve our small forwards and forward pressure. Why not show some ambition and throw some of JUH's salary at someone like McCreery or Charlie Cameron

11, 22 and an F1 would be decent trade bait for a gun. And an F1 still in the bank. But it's getting late and likely pointless thinking about until next year.

Yep, need at least two mature guys coming in IMO. Mentioned Derksen and Frost on the previous page, whispers about Ollie Lord but he is contracted so may cost a little, any other decent options floating around?

Potentially Lachie Smith may be ready for a few games next year if required and then English can float forward, but that's just a temporary look and cover.

Mitch Georgiades and Zak Butters for 4x 1st rounders and Garcia. Who says no?

Ive got no interest moving our first up whatsoever as I've been very vocal about. All for moving our second up into the first round or into next year though.

A little surprised there wasn’t more noise about him, not just from us but league wide. They did get pick 29 for him which I think is pretty decent value, maybe that’s why the deal got done so quickly

Not sure he is exactly what we need, a talented player definitely but is another half forward who doesn’t tackle. Still an upgrade on what we are currently playing and you’d hope they were at least asking questions

He is coming too the point where mentally he should be maturing especially with what he has been through. Could pick him up cheap and be a high return if we could get himself squared away
