AFLW Trade, Draft and list changes

I thought the appropriate official to do these grabs would be a GM of women's football talent, not your Head of women's football. Maybe we don't have one?

She is, arguably, Richmond's Head of Women's Football - but we quibble over terms.

even better is, now that WB have 4 picks, Demons and Pies have 2 picks each before us, they won't all go best available with all their picks.

Now that Trade week is done and dusted clubs may need to cut deeper into their lists to get their lists down to 28, with the minimum of 2 picks rule to apply at this Monday's draft.

I believe that we will have to cut 4 more players.

Pretty good effort in the end but Dallaway and Hicks look like fringe players and we didn’t solve our lack of midfield class to help Conti

The reduced list size in the AFLW is pretty dumb. You can’t really afford to have anyone on the list who is more of a development exercise

It only damages the talent pool

Yes but they look improvements on who they’ll replace. Dallaway plays similar to Greg’s, looks a tad quicker , unsure of disposal eff , still we need more ball winners at the coal face to support Moncon
