Trade for Forward

Obviously what we're going after durign the trade period is a big marking forward. My choice right now would be Troy Simmonds at Freo, because Andrew McDougall probably won't come. Simmonds is from Melbourne and fits the criteria

What I want to know is how could we get him. Our first round draft could come into it, it's not as if we dont have the young talent who don't get a starting place in the first team yet (Molony, Tenace, Mackie, Byrnes, Callan etc) Also, I'd be very happy if someone took Spriggs and Rahilly off our hands, and Jarod Rooke could also be used as bait.

Perhaps we could trade some of them to Port Adelaide, they could trade Josh Carr to Freo, and we get Simmonds and something?

Simmonds is proberbly more of a ruckman than forward. Is only really playing forward at FREO because they lack a big foreward.

Probably...but Kingy starting in the ruck, then switching at full-forward with Simmonds, who runs around for a bit while Kingy dominates the square. I like it

its official..Geelong are after Whitnall...why do we always go after duds?? and we always trade someone good for them...such as bizzell for grgic, burns for finnin, justin murphy for a 2nd round draft pick, colbert for a draft pick who ended up being spriggs... we suck at trading! if we continue like this i wouldnt be surprised if we traded scarlett for the hamburgler (whitnall)

Cattas_21, MATE. Everyones entitled to opinion but when its based on fiction and ignorance then I draw the line.
How many times does this need to be said.We did not trade Biz for Grigic.Melbourne traded the picks to give us Jimbo Kelly and Hank Playfair and the used the pick we gave them (55)to get Miller which was a good pick up for them.Over all I would not swap biz and Kelly right now ,would you?

Get real. We are being praised by many for the cleverness of our drafting and resurection.Most can see that since 99 we are the best at in the AFL

I must say I got quite a surprise when I had a browse on here this morning to see another Dasha39!! Good to see people supporting the great man, just so long as people can differenciate between the 2 of us!
