Great movie

I read the Chris Mayne article on the AFL website and all i could remember was something about offers around $500k per season. I think this has taken up my short term memory. A season. $500k. non-core fringe player. I am 12.

Aaron Black cant even get a game in norths injury depleted forward line, why do we want rejects again?

We have one forward who is injury prone.

We can't afford to trade another first rounder.

Black would complement Dixon.

He would be cheap.

Black looked like he would be a good player a few years ago.

We need someone for structures.

Hopefully we are trading for at least two big men who can play forward.

Harvey's made two unrelated appearances on this board in two days under the guise of two different characters.

Pretty random.

What can I say, I've got Tarantino on my mind. Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill have been on TV this week.

but North's forward line isnt as injury ravaged as you think.

They have their 3 talls in Brown, Petrie and Daw. its their smalls that are the worry
Petrie is finished, he was done a long time ago, Daw is ok but north fans are calling for him to be dropped as well

Hartlett for Darling i think would make a lot sense for both clubs.

Both players fill a need.

Get the feeling both would possibly do better getting away from their home state and it might just be the kick both players need to take their game to the next level?

Which club would say no? My guess is WCE. If i was Port i would request / make the deal.

Don't like and particularly after ONE very shout step last night Darling is a big NO.

Yeah he definitely has a couple of deficiencies, but so does Hartlett.

I think almost anyone that has ever played footy has had at least one moment where they have done something similar in regards to taking eye off the ball, short steps etc. Not sure thats enough to write him off from having a good career tho.

Also i guess the key to good trading is buy players when their stock is at their lowest. Just think he could really add something to our forward line and still has plenty of improvement.

I also think its one of those trades where it could be win/win where if hammer left the state and played with a chip on his shoulder he could be All Australian.

I agree with your 'one moment' however there is something about Darling that suggests to me he is not the player we need at this time of our regeneration of the list. Hartlett direct swap is too higher price as I feel if we should get a 1st rounder for him...if that is 6 remains to be seen. I like our core but we need to offload 7-12 players and perhaps that may take 2 seasons as we all know our current list is not going to provide sustainable success. I hope we take the approach of drafting youth early then look to later or rookie to draft/trade for depth e.g. KPF, Ruck etc. I see this as exciting and look forward with reel optimism.

What is so tantalising about a 192cm 26 year old who has played three games in the past twp seasons and managed just fifty since being drafted in 2009? On top of that the guy is still contracted at North so they would probably want overs.

Didn't we just get rid of a guy with a similar background?

Yes, Ken has said we are after high draft picks. We want to bring in draftees rather than trading in players.

Don't reckon we'd say no for a decent player that fills a requirement.
