I just spoke to someone in the know and they said the Johnstone deal is done part of the armstrong.
As i said i inquired about this deal on monday and apparently crows were trying hard for him but sydney werent letting him go.
Dont know whats changed?????

Jenkins and Lynch is done.

We are still trying to get KPD - Ess asking too much for Hooker apprently and we dont have enough left to give them....
So possibly pick 24 + Armstrong for Johnstone + 2nd rounder? Seems too much...

I cant see us getting their 2nd back... 3rd at best!

Us and Gold Coast are showing the most interest in Jenkins according to Emma. She also says that we are VERY into Johnston but doesn't know what we'll give up.

The way it is looking at the moment, we will end the week With Tom Lynch (#13 2008), Lewis Johnson (Syd #12 2008) Luke Brown (Norwood #15-#40 in 2011), Brad Crouch (North Ballarat #4 2011, #5 2012) and something with Pick 24 (Ebert? #13 2007).
You never know we may get Polec or Redden as well.

Seems like a pretty good week to Me.

The only smoke I have seen has been on this board. Trigg and Noble have consistantly said he will definately be with us next year. I hope so as I think his true worth is yet to be realized as a ruckman who goes forward occasionally as Bickley used him late in the year. He is a great ruckman and it makes his forward time less predictable and gets him in the game more.

We have Rutten, Talia, Otten, Thompson, Sellar (at present)...i certainly wouldn't be giving much for average back-ups.

Not enough mate, we need one more Gorrilla type. Hooker would be good.

Yeah, I doubt we'd get a 2nd rounder as well as Johnston.

I really cant understand Sydney, they just offered him 2 yrs deal, on mond they said no way, and now there giving him to us for Armstr + 35....

The latest news i have rec on Tippet today is Adelaide have told Brisbane its Redden + Polec or nothing.....
Brisbane at this stage have said no, but Adel expect Brisb to come back with an offer once Clark deal is done.

Whether Adel is willing to negotiate maybe Polec + 2 first rounders not sure.

But im sure it wont be Polec + a first rounder.

Every football reporter you mean, and let's be honest when you talk about Rucci or Hutchy you aren't exactly talking about the most talented of media. In fact I reckon they would have a better chance of getting something right if they threw darts at a board and in Rucci's case I am sure that The Crows at least use him to spread misinformation. Noble and Trigg have been very honest in every interview that I have heard, either refusing to expand or naming the players involved in any trades and have consistantly denied any chance of Tippett being traded. I personally just think that someone with his talent and competative nature are very rare and we would be stupid to entertain any idea of moving him, especially with the midfield gold we have brought in.
