When actually is trade week?
I love all the speculation and the fact that apparently Carlton are linked to every single player who could possibly be traded. However, I would really like to know when we can see it!

Is it on Foxtel?

I have been in America for the last few years and am not sure if its telecasted
cheers

Could you imaging 5 days of watching trade week. It would be torture!
They generally give you a 1 minute synposis on your local news service and thats enough.

Day 4-5 sends BF into proposed trade frenzy.

Starts on Monday 5th October, and continues until 2pm Friday 9th. Won't be televised on Foxtel given that it goes for 5 days, however, the National Draft will be televised on Foxtel on November 26th.
Aren't Ch 10 doing it this year as well, going live but pre-recording the top 10 and leaving them till last, running it back in 10 to 1 order.......

I thought I read that somewhere.

Absolutely......with some clubs holding out for something they will never ever get, it can drag what should be done in 2-3 days out to 5.......;)

On Friday of trade week is when it all happens and last minute at that. You can tune in to SEN on Friday they usually have someone there reading out the trades as their written up on the board. People every year say that trade week should be cut down to 3days as 5 days drags on too long for all involved including fans.

God .....surely they would never televise it!!!! Starts on Mon 5th, the only time it is likely to be worth watching will be on Fri 9 Oct at about 2:30 in the arvo.

In the last couple of years you have been able to download a live 'trade tracker' from the AFL web site. It is a news ticker that you can minimise on your screen to keep you up to date. Unfortunately most of the week there isnt much 'ticking' happening but you never know!!!!

Good lord, I'd rather watch 5 days of Thylacine talking about the theory of philatelic investment

I dare say if they televised trade week it would be the lowest rating television program in the history of television.

More would watch Weatherwatch overnight on SBS.

More trades get done on Weatherwatch than the first 4 days of trade week
