They would have been better off having free agency as a one week deal. Once that finishes then have trade week last for two weeks, that would have worked the best imo

They have done really well with the gaining of these picks. Quinten Lynch though is just not going to work I don't think. Really wish we could trade a Wellingham type player for pick 17, he is worth pick 30 at best

Its very easy to nail the trade period when you are dealing with fools. Melbourne football club are a disgrace to offer pick 20 & 45 for Dawes. I mean he couldnt even take a chest mark this year.

You should be having a full moon party or a massive circle jerk on your board getting pick 20 and an upgrade for dawes not telling us we are going to get your pick 45 for at trade that is not going to happen.

The Dawes deal is laughably bad by Melbourne. Collingwood players are typically overrated I feel, yes they have some talented players but Dawes isn't one of them. He's like Kosi really, can occasionally pop up and do something but can also go missing for a long time. Clark was a good get for Melbourne so maybe Dawes can replicate what Clark did before going down with injury.

As for Hawks, I can't see us trading for another player, if Gilham does decide to join Murph at GC it'd be a good move by GC as they can then play Bock forward and have an experienced big bodied forward. Not sure if we'd be willing to give him up cheaply though as if we lose a key defender we'd have no KP stock. Gilham is a key defender so by we should realistically be looking for a high draft pick. Maybe trade our first pick and gilham for an earlier pick and a later pick as well?
