Training 14-8-09 - Turtle

Turtle provides awesome training reports regularly, latest one 14-8-09

A finals like atmosphere descended across Goschs Paddock this morning with bright sunshine and mild conditions.
A decent core of the Magpie faithful watched a very short but sharp session.

All of the 25 selected plus the welcome faces of Anthony Rocca and Josh Fraser were a part of training.

Basically it was a very laid back session of circle work. Nick Maxwell left the track early but this has been a usual occurrence with the sessions directly before a game for about 2 months.

The very positive signs were Josh Fraser backing up from his Wednesday training hit out and being involved with the senior group.
Anthony Rocca like an experienced stallion was extremely perky and looked very lean.

The official part of session lasted about 50 minutes but numerous players such as Travis Cloke, Jack Anthony, Ben Reid, Marty Clarke & Scott Pendlebury remained for some goal kicking practice.

Josh Fraser also stayed to do some 200 metre solid running with Justin Crow and Josh looked fine after he completed a series of run thru’s.

Great news also from the VFL squad training was Sean Rusling completing the whole of training.
