Hi All,

Went down to training yesterday for a quick look and was very impressed with it all. The boys were all very upbeat and there were a lot of high fives and banter amongst the boys. Talking to an older member there said the teams training out of Junction oval never seemed to have this atmoshpere, and inclusiveness.

Whilst talking off field, I was amazed at the amount of guys that whilst walking past said I and asked how my day was going. It seems the club are really pushing those little extra's. Jonesy and Greeny were posing for photo's with children and talking freely to the people gathered.

With the onfield performances it was a pretty light session. Was great watching Ricky Bobby slotting goals from 40m. Pencil is looking like a footballer for once though thought he was over shaddowed by Martin, who just seems to be moving better and looks dangerous.

Watts was working dam hard. Simulating the movement out of the back line Watts was the link man for three in a row, though th kept switching wings and he was the only one who seemed to be able to make it to the contest on both sides.

Jonesy was very vocal and worked with Cooky and Jetta and got stuck into them when they dropped marks or missed the spot with Kicks. Cooky looks the goods though in a few of the things he did. Jetta still looks a little bit off some of the senior boys.

Jurrah, Bate, Green and Davey had a bit of a goal kicking comp about 5m in front of me. Kicking from 50m out on the boundry. They were sledging each other, was very funny, but more school yard stuff. Davey screaming to bate at point of kicking "Oh my god his hair is on fire" is funnier in real life then on here!

In all the boys are all looking stronger and then this time last year and I am excited to see what they can do tonight against an undermanned bomber unit.

Sorry cant really give more info then that, well except in glimpses off half back I could see why they call Blease a Jet, moves so well and quickly.

Cheers,

Thank you very much for the report - it's great to hear about the team really gelling together!
