Who's that player with the footy in his hands and the Greg Chappell hat in the background behind Griffen?

Looking at the pic with Walker and Dangerfield in it... they both look about the same height. Dangerfield is listed at 186/187 from draft camp. So unless Dangerfield has grown a lot in 2 months or whatever i don't see how Walker is 190+. However, Walkers legs are a tad bent so he could be a tad taller...
I read somewhere that Dangerfield has grown since draft camp.

He did grow 4-5cm this year and put on 12kg, so theres def some growth happening there.

Imagine if he hit 190+. :).

Geez you just get the feeling there is more TALENT on this list now than there has been in a long time. Lots of exciting prospects, plenty to look forward to. Bring on 2008.

was there myself thismorning. Walker looks to be settling in realy realy well coping & enjoying the step up to AFL although he was restricted to sprints, sit ups, he was paired up with dangerfield in a kind of boxing excersize e.g. Lay down with boxing gloves on..trainer standing above you with pads on hands, & do sit ups then hold while punching 6 or 7 times, and then similar sorts of things to follow.. walker had awesome coordination & power and stood up throughout the intervals whilst dangerfield, looked like a **** & colapsed as soon as he done his final reps in between turns & even hurt his hand. Taylor made poor Rodney look like a right wimp. lol

and another quick mention, Kurt Tippet is an absolute massive unit.. look forward to him playing for sure. the most powerfull looking guy out there & im not exagerating

Different strokes for different folks.

If it were a foot race, Dangerfield would make Walker look like a cripple.

Delighted to read the comments re Tippett. He could well be the quality tall that we've been strugggling to find for so many years.

Thanks for the pics Crow*G9irl, they're great. I've been looking at the pics of David Mackay over the last couple of weeks and he really looks as if his body has developed. What did he look like in the flesh?:)

He's still kind of 'small', think Richard Douglas at the end of last year. I hope he gets a run in the NAB Cup to see how he goes up against the bigger bodies.

Looks like Campbell has bulked/toned up a fair bit? looks very fit at the moment.
He had a bad run of injuries didn't he last season?

Can anyone confirm or deny both my questions??

How do you think he will go this year? games? what posi? etc.

Thanks in advance!

Campbell's my favourite player; just admire him so much. He worked so hard to get on an AFL list and he has such a fantastic attitude and such a great work ethic. :thumbsu:

He had a shocking run this year with injuries. Shoulder, ankle and back injuries kept him out for basically the entire pre-season and then his back flared up during the season when he was finally starting to find some form. He did well to make his debut and then was unfairly dropped. But you're right, he does look in terrific shape and I expect him to make a big impact next season.

I agree with Drummond, Campbell is an absolute champ.

And I look forward to him playing many games.

Training times for next week:

afc.com.au

Next week (starting Monday December 10) is a lighter week for the group and therefore the full group will not be involved in any football sessions. There will be maintenance/recovery/weights and small group skills sessions on Monday and Tuesday. The 1-2 year players then travel to Strathalbyn to start an induction camp. The senior players (8 years or more) then have the rest of the week off while the 3-7 year players have a football session at Max Basheer Reserve on Thursday from about 9.15am.

The next football session for the group is on Monday, December 17, from 9.15am at Max Basheer Reserve.
