Was at training today and noted the following ::

  • Betts, Benjamin, Ackland & Hartlett trained away from the main group doing handball drills and light marking. No movement. (Ackland was impressive in the handball drill hitting the targets 80%)
  • Did not see Anderson, Bannister, Pfeiffer, Edwards, Austin, Jackson & Hadley training. Although I saw Hadley after.
  • Hoops said he is playing a full game tomorrow.
  • Saddington is playing Sunday. Asked him myself.
  • Gibbs was doing a lot of left foot kicking.
  • Ratts worked with Hampson 1 on 1 in the fwd 50 for about 15 minutes. Making Hampson lead to certain spots.
  • Bentick said he was hoping to get selected.
Thats anything major I noticed. From the looks of it, there will be no changes come sunday.

On behalf of the men of Australia General, thanks for the picture of Penny Taylor.

BTW Bentick will be lucky to play again this year. Bentick is very good in close, but that's about it. Bentick and Fisher are kind of the same. "If you've only got one string on your bow, it better fire a mean arrow." Unfortunately Bentick hasn't been 'on' at the clearences in the second part of the year.

Sounds like there will be no change, which is good to hear. Why make changes just for the sake of it! A shame that Betts doesn't sound like he is going to come up.

Eddie has had at least 2 or 3 hammies in his short career already and even a slight strain is usually 2 weeks min for most.

Why risk a more serious tear which would cause scar tissue in the muscle and create a weaker point indefinately in the muscle.

If we dont win this week he should be put on ice for the rest of the year
