Tweeted from training this morning @Appleshk
Summary
Sier, Aish, Mayne and Reid all trained strongly
Madgen received great applause and congratulations in huddle pre training. Will play Saturday
Sier passed with flying colours. Should come straight back in
Goldy received a setback and left the track early. Won’t play in VFL
Moore was outstanding on the track
Treloar and Appleby trained on the AAMI side with a supervisor
Appleby says he is almost ready
Treloar ran strongly and up to 50% pace in 100 m sprints
Ben Reid looking good. Did full training. Probably back next week
Howe did not train and will probably play next week according to Bucks
Jamie Elliott had a long a very jovial/animated conversation with Bucks
At the presser the Channel 10 journo asked Bucks about Lynch. When Bucks ducked the question he suggested Bucks was sitting on the fence.......rather than jumping it!

Thanks for this. Glad to hear Jamie is in good spirits!

I initially took that to mean that Channel 10 were enquiring why Max wasn’t playing or on any injury lists

So Howe and Shaz both out. Magden in. ?Maclarty or Sier and one less back?
One less back for mine.

Sydney only really have Franklin, with the promising first year player in McCartin as a foil. I think Sinclair rests forward sometimes. The rest of their forwards are mediums and smalls.

Moore and Madgen is enough.

Also, we are playing at the SCG where you really only need one KP at each end.

Thanks Apples for another enlightening Training Report.Succinct & spot on for the players under the injury microscope. Would be interested to know if Fasolo trained well as he is a logical back up to assist a battle fatigued Stephenson & to cover the non appearance of Elliott.

Thanks Apples!

It's great that Treloar is coming along with his recovery. I just hope that if he does get his body right this season that he goes straight back into the seniors without going through the VFL. He is that important to our finals hopes.

Thanks for the report! Might be a match that suits Sier nicely, looking forward to him coming back in (hopefully)

Thanks Mr Apples.

Great news with the Bear to return.
Love the Bear!

Sinclair will play a lot more time forward with our short defense. Who can take him? Langdon?

Sore Back According to Bucks
Sweet Jesus. Can anything the club predicts pan out? Howe was apparently a sure thing to play- now out. Goldy was going to play in the VFL-out. It seriously will never flucking end. I am feeling a slide is imminent. I'm actually very concerned about Brisbane next week. They have a number of mobile big forwards and we have short people to go with them. By the time Reid and co return we will be playing off for 12th.

Thanks for the training report mate, great to hear Reid trained strongly and if we could get Ben back in the team it would help at both,s end.
Walsh remarked about Reid the other day that he was back in full training hopefully those knee scrapes have worked as a fit again Reid would make a big difference.

Reid might play in VFL Then

He won't play seniors for at least another three weeks and by then it may not matter.

It may be that you are right but I hope the players are not thinking like you but I do not think they are, they have had a lot of adversity this year but generally have fronted the next week.
I will be backing them this week because on their efforts this season as I said they have come through a lot this season and I don,t think they will drop their bundle now.

I just hope he's right if he gets back. I recall that the biggest risk with his injury is trying to do too much too early. Given how quickly he is back training and recently doing full pace sprints (last training session) I really worry that that's what's occurring. I hope my concern is misguided.
