wow, that's legit disgusting - conspiracy hat on: are the AFL trying to derail Dockers momentum or what..?!

That's just not acceptable. At all. Hope they are angered and smash the sh*t out of them now

Can u imagine in a few weeks time we tell Collingwood "Oh Sorry, You can't train on Optus. Find a suburban park to train on yourself. Cheers."

The uproar. The audacity. The entitlement. It would be plastered all over the media like that snivelling pos that does the damo says or whatever.

Just down at training today with a particular interest in our rehab group.
Walker, O’Driscoll and Sturt are completing a strong rehab session and are now doing lots of running. Walker has no strapping on his shoulder. Fyfe is doing lots of hammy work and gentle running.
Much to my disappointment no sighting of Son Son.

Dogga big mark and goal number 2 from 40m out.
Fyfe doing lots of running now, Walker only using his right hand for marking.
Sturt looks a lot better much less of a limp, O’Driscoll really looks like he is ready to go again.
No Sonny still.
Having NOD back and up to speed would be fantastic, the question will be who goes out?
I know everyone will want JOM but I still find that unlikely.

Narkle is an easy one who could go out for NOD.
Although, the chances of having no injuries are very little.

If you get players like Sturt, NOD back you could also start to rest players for a game to freshen them up.

I think both Reid and Dudley would benefit from a rest. Probably JOM as well in the back end of the year.

NOD seems fine to come back but I did hear him say at the end that he is still feeling the ankle, close though. Forgot to mention that JOM was a no show like Son Son and based on that will not be playing for a bit. When available NOD will be against Sharp, Johnson or perhaps they drop one of the extra defenders they have been playing. I think he finds a spot because he adds so much to the midfield.

NOD if fit brings a point of difference.
I think you're onto it there, Wagner gets pushed back to the half back and someone comes out there - Worner would be the obvious but he's actually played really well the last couple of games.
Hard choices!

I would like to see NOD's metre per position in the centre square. I think him and Bolton really give our midfield some spark.

id be leaning towards sharp out, would have to balance it with the defensive running and width he brings but would have to think wed get more out of NOD/MJ/Wagner wings

It will be interesting, in Duffield’s SEN program someone in the media was talking about Sharp doing 16k of running from the forward line to the back line for only 4 possessions. They saw it as a player sacrifice for the team’s benefit. I certainly agree that no other Freo player could do that amount of running so he may still be more rated by the club than the supporters.

It's a tricky one because Sharp is the only guy who has exclusively trained as a winger (all through his junior to now) so knows the role inside out. JLO tends to be a guy that favours structures and knowing your role so I don't know if he will drop him to be honest.

A few weeks ago, JL said Sharp is only true winger. He won't be dropped, at least not until O'Driscoll is back.

He must do a lot of unrecognised work, and people are concentrating too much on his stats.

Has Smart ever been dropped by us?

I'm thinking he's doing what is asked of him.

Sharp hasn't been dropped, and either has Smart?
I think it's fair to say Noddy and Sharp are the 2 first selected wingers. Wagner, JOM, Wagner, Freddy ect will just wax lyrical until both are available again.
Sharp and Noddy compliment each other well I reckon. How good is it not relying on Ethan Hughes on the wing?

Unrewarded defensive running most often goes unnoticed and hence under valued by the casual observer.
Sharp does a lot of it on his wing.
Freddy also spends a lot of time trekking up and down the middle of the ground.
Both players to a point are sacrificing their own game in order to deny the opposition time and space to move the ball.
