id be leaning towards sharp out, would have to balance it with the defensive running and width he brings but would have to think wed get more out of NOD/MJ/Wagner wings
There is no way Sharp comes out unless injured. He is routinely the top distance runner from both teams in a match and our only 'winger'.

Can anyone tell me what the story us with Son Son please. Played in the Indigenous All-Stars game, didn't seem to get injured in it but has not played since. Was he injured at training or something?

Experienced discomfort in his knee since or during the IAS match, just being managed is my understanding.

Sharp hasn't been dropped, and either has Smart?
I think it's fair to say Noddy and Sharp are the 2 first selected wingers. Wagner, JOM, Wagner, Freddy ect will just wax lyrical until both are available again.
Sharp and Noddy compliment each other well I reckon. How good is it not relying on Ethan Hughes on the wing?
Haha.

Yes spot on with NOD and Sharp, but you need 3 winger capable players I reckon.

Oh and thanks a lot for reminding us about Hughes on the wing.

Would like to see Freddy on the wing, has all the attributes. One thing I noticed on the weekend was how hard he was working to get up and down the ground. I reckon he does his best work in between the arcs.

We’ve got plenty of scoring options to cover for him now.

We are getting some nice midfield/forward rotation possibilities. I can see Frederick and MJ being in the wing rotation. Possibly Wagner.

I thought he got the injury in our next scratch match against Melbourne was playing well. Remember the incident as a knee on knee incident causing bone bruising, geez it has taken time.

Pretty sure he did spend so time on the wing on Friday. Definitely did for a least one centre bounce.

He was last game. A number of CBs and I saw him a few times deep in defence. Can’t say I noticed him actually running the lengths but that’d be because I was ball watching — or because Freddy runs so fast he becomes invisible.

They may as well have gone full Phil Narkle.
I assume the little spheres are designed to absorb rotational force? It’s interesting. No evidence for helmets in concussion prevention so far… it’d be cool if they could come up with something that actually works!

If I knew then what i know now, i wouldn’t have worn a helmet to play rugby!

Sometimes I feel like I need to put one on before logging in to bigfooty.

Lovely morning for a trading/ rehab report.
I believe our most experienced players will be very important in any push towards finals as other players need resting .
The players in rehab are:
Son Son, JOM and Walker (hair is out - imagine the 70s disco!)
Walker is running laps with that beautiful running style and real speed also looks less restricted in the shoulder.
JOM is working on his foot issue and is perhaps the most restricted.
Son Son is up and about and looks relatively unrestricted.
Swaggy, Fyfe and O’Driscoll in main training, I think Sturt is in training as well but a bit difficult to tell because of yellow bibs.
