Haven't seen a training report from today. Presumably they did train.

Also does anyone know what days they are training this week? Wouldn't mind having a look at the boys.

I have also been wondering this. I have alot of free time at the moment and would love to go down and watch the boys train. Any body know?

Boys had a full run this morning.Pav ,Faulkes,Lachie and Forster trained in a rehab group then joined the match sims.Mayne trained on his own with rehab runs and drills
Ibbo and Clarke were the only ones missing
Sharp session with Sonny,Suttcliffe.C Pearce and Crowley really putting in
Sonny was very vocal and has progressed from shy to one of the leaders on the track
Balla trained with his usual grunt although was wearing a pressure bandage on his calf
Hard to see who will miss out between Suttcliffe and Crosier with both working well but as I said Sutty was a standout
I did notice Suttcliffe joining the WAFL boys after the match sims but then rejoined the main midfield group for mid sims
so hard to guess the ins and outs
Mora trained early with a couple of trainers and looked great
Skills were great this morning ,looking good for Fri

Well I was going to head down tomorrow for a look, but I did hear Ross Lyon say that Hayden Ballantyne and the other players who didn't train yesterday were going to train today instead.

As we have a Friday night game this week they may not train tomorrow ahead of the team selection and choose to have the day's break before the big game instead.

I wonder if Salim is back from Melbourne as yet and could elaborate for us?

Your thoughts too Gaskin?

Speak of the devil!

Sounds good. Still tossing up whether to go down tomorrow. Has any one any idea if they will be training at Freo.

Decision now made. I will definitely call in to see what's happening. If there is anything worth commenting on I'll make a report.

Called in this morning about 9.00 and absolutely nothing happening. Hung around till nearly 10 chatting to Salim who was also there then we both left.

Training Report for Tuesday 16-04-13

Attended training for about a hour or so today, pretty cruisy and relaxed.
Apart from the obvious, de Boer and Michie didn't train.
Clarke and Croizer didn't train with main group, with Zac trying to do some jogs but clearly hampered by calf injury. Got out to a fast walk if that and stopped a few times. Hayden did stop-start laps, looks a bit sore.
Mcpharlin, Faulks and Bradley all ran laps early, then followed by stretching. Macca looks fine so does Kepler but obviously cautious with the knocks.
Pav started training then 5 minutes went into the room and wasn't seen again. Really keen for him to get some form, obviously doing work behind doors.
Mellington, Neale, Simpson and Sutcliffe trained well. Hannath looks ready to step up, given Clarke is pretty much no for this week.
About halfway through one of the drills, Spurr (not 100% certain) appeared to have rolled his ankle or did his calf. Had to be helped off the ground and into the rooms. But did come back out and run some laps.
All in all, basic training with skills under pressure and zoning. Not expecting changes by the looks of it, perhaps Hannath or Neale (if Croiz is sore) will come in.

Hope so. I would like to put pressure on the Hawks tall backs and have a second genuine ruckman against Bailey and Hale. Would love to see Neale come in as well, but can't see Ross going back on his chosen 22 this early.

I saw somewhere on one of the footy websites I think it was Menengola

I was at training today as well and it was Lee Spurr who went off injured. He came back out later to run a lap by himself so it wasn't too serious I hope.

Matt De Boer trained one on one with a trainer after the boys left the field. Was a very short training session today, they started at 9.40am and were all finished an hour later.

They trained in two groups today being the WAFL boys which included Ibbo, and the starting 22 group which included Cam Sutcliffe.

Zac Dawson was the only one I saw fumbling the ball today.

Sandi was at the club today but did not train and Zac Clarke's right calf was bandaged.

Surprised to see Pav warm up with the boys then leave the field and not return.

Was great to see Danyle Pearce stay back to practice his goal kicking for a bit after the boys left the field too.

Those on light running duties were Clarke, Faulks, McPharlin, Bradley and Crozier.

Unsighted was Matt de Boer (until the end), Viv Michie, Sandi (was there but didn't train), Silvagni and Morabito.

Also unsighted was RTB and Suma as Kirkey was senior coach today.

I take it they will train harder either tomorrow or Thursday.

My apologies guys, I just saw the Channel 10 news and it was Menagola who was helped off the ground. Lee Spurr did leave the track early too, only to resume light running later.

Good work Harry.

CH10 footage shows ZClarke looking very tentative. He looks about another 2-3 weeks away to me.
