Haha! Where were you sitting? There were kids EVERYWHERE. It was so funny when they started doing the Geelong chant as the players left, I laughed my head off at them.

i was sitting down infront of the pivots room. it was nice untill those f%$king kids turned up, anyway its nice to see them supporting the club i guess.

Oh, okay! My friend and I were right behind them, about 5 or so rows back. Good to see all the locals turning up to support them.

yeah you would have to think there were about 400-500 ppl there ? carpark was full i had to park over near the highway. i also had some time to look at that new stuff out the front, the ledgens walk thing-o. not to shabby.

Prismall still has his arm heavily strapped though. Anyone here think he has a realistic chance of coming back in, taking into account his finals inexperience, the team balance and all?

Cats complete prelim preparations

Geelong completed their final training session without problems today ahead of tomorrow night's AFL preliminary final against Collingwood at the MCG.

All 22 players who played in the big last start win over the Kangaroos two weeks ago, as well as veteran ruckman Steven King, Charlie Gardiner and Brent Prismall, had a crisp 45-minute training run at Skilled Stadium.

Cats football manager Neil Balme said the team was itching for the battle for a grand final berth to start.

While the minor premiers are well rested after getting the week's break, Collingwood have spent the week regrouping from their exhausting extra-time win over West Coast at Subiaco Oval last Friday.

Balme said the Cats players had appreciated the week off, but did not think it was going to give them any real edge over the Magpies.

"It doesn't get a kick for you tomorrow night, it doesn't give you a start, but certainly they are no disadvantages,'' Balme said.

Tomorrow's match is a sell-out and although the Magpies regularly play in front of big crowds due to their huge supporter base, Balme does not believe his side will be at a disadvantage playing before an expected crowd of more than 90,000.

"It's not something you can just dismiss but it wasn't that long ago - and it was against Collingwood as well - I think there was 85,000-odd in round 15 so the boys have been there before,'' Balme said.

"Our blokes I think are very good recognising what they have to do within a game rather than let (that) have any kind of impact.''

In bright, sunny conditions, about 500 Cats fans, as well as the odd Magpies supporter, were on hand to watch training today.

My god how much i hate little kids they were pissing me off so much.
i was happy when they left. training was good nothing diff than normal no egan. King charlie and pris all trained well IMO, bobby davis was there in front of the cameras again.

They looked very sharp today, no question and very enthusiastic. I rekon they're itching to get out there tomorrow night!

I noticed Enright did some sprints and left the ground early, not taking part in drills. He didn't look injured though..

Not sure if he came back out towards the end though coz I left.

hahahaha thats dr bradshaw(spelling) hes a good bloke ive been seeing him about my knee.it good to catch up with him and get the low down on the players im got an ap. with him next wensday so it we make the big game i'll get the injury scoop for all the cats on BF. and i wont have to do a hutchy and sleep in his bin.
