Hello all,

Managed to score a day off work/uni today and will likely head down to crows training.

These are public sessions aren't they?

The last time I went to crows training was in the early nineties so can anyone help me out in terms of where you go in etc at AAMI.

Cheers

Just got back from AAMI. Gotta love living close.

Anyways the main news is Roo trained the entire session, joined in with everything and pretty much looked ready to go as far as I was concerned. Had a fair few set shtos at the end of training from 50 = and nailed the majority, then did some snaps from closer range.

Massie trained particularly well. As did Knights, Douglas, Griff and Rhysy Archard (super impressed with him given how little I've seen of him). Johncock did the whole session and did alright, but I don't reckon he'll play this week. Would love to be wrong though.

Tyse Edwards was with the long term injuries group, and only did the warm up then dissapeared.

Craigy seemed to be working the corridor the whole session. Lots of full ground exercises and was demanding the ball be brought inboard every time. Screaming More run! More run! and yelling at players to take them on. In one exercise he went back and played on Macca himself, as if tagging him.

Nick Gill looked to be training particularly hard but didn't get much opportunity in a lot of drills.

Funniest thign was at the end of training where Maric was elading out and Knighta and Vb both drilled passes at him. Both missed by centremetres. VB yells out 'at least catch one Zagreb!'

Bocky nailed a few people in competitive tackling drills, including Truck, and Mcleod is completely the Clown Prince.

What are training times or are they different week to week?

I noticed Wednesday training was 5pm some nights and was hoping to get to a session once back in Adelaide ( work finishes in the Port at 4.30 )

The Wednesday session is often linked to the same or very similar game time for that week. So a 5pm session would be when we are playing a night game. Hope that helps PC

Good news from http://afc.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArticle/tabid/4417/Default.aspx?newsId=43815 regarding Roo and Stiffy

Mark Ricciuto and Graham Johncock have completed Wednesday’s main training session.

Ricciuto continues to progress and took part in competitive tackling drills, while Graham Johncock trained without restriction and is likely to be available for Saturday’s clash with Carlton.

Brent Reilly, Jason Porplyzia and John Hinge also completed training and will be pressing for selection.

Brett Burton missed Wednesday’s session and is likely to be rested this weekend.

Youngster Kurt Tippett injured his shoulder for West Adelaide in the SANFL and will miss out this weekend.

Scott Welsh also missed with a cold, Scott Thompson’s sore quad prevented him from training and Tyson Edwards was restricted to light duties with a sore knee.

All three are expected to train on Friday and be available for selection this week but Richrd Douglas left the track early with hamstring tightness.

Any danger of Scott Welsh participating or even completing a training session this year? Not really having a go at him as his form has been good but you have to give him credit for having a different excuse each week.

Can't tire him out for match day. I'm sure he has got plenty of important tings to do, like get a hair cut, chat up a few girls... ;)

Turbo in the match simulations where was Ricciuto?

FF or FP or bit of forwardline and abit of midfield?

Saw on the news in training him taking on our defensive mid sized players but couldnt make out his role.

He was the kid at school with the "dog at my homework Miss" excuse! ;)

Playing as a lead up forward on Hinge. Did little to no midfield work.
